I too am a "tinkerer" and got into nitro RC for years. No air vehicles though, just truggies, monster trucks, and blacktop racers. I had an HPI RS4 Super Nitro clocked at 68mph by a Detroit cop in a vacant parking lot back in the early 2000's. 🏎️ 💨

I thought plane & drones were costly. We have a couple guys with some cars, feel sorry for their parts bills. There mostly electric now (as are many planes). You cant beat the old school nitro spell though.

LOL I like the 68 MPH clocking too that's good stuff I haven't driven through Detroit as much as I did back in the day, but man it was always fun. As long as kids weren't outside playing, you could do all kinds of little tricks there. Driving down a street, and going sideways while turning down a side street, and no one cares haha.

I didn't buy anything, but I did treat myself to another delicious quarter ounce of weed from my closet
