First joint I held in my life (92?) was said to be "wheelchair"
When I inquired why, they told me it was because my legs would give out,,, that is some A1 peer pressure, I was sold.

I have tried that UBC chemo, ( I am not that picky) I was not blown away. Was certainly no better than what was on the street at the time, even though chemo was more expensive.
Pretty sure that was hitting my town. Was called wheelchair. Used to go to a buddy's house and get all blazed up. Drove home across town about 30kph. Good stuff. Lol

From what I've read Wheelchair and UBC Chemo were apparently the same thing so from what you're saying that sounds about right. I've seen it because sitting next to me right now is an old ass issue of High Times that has it listed :

1-888-40-BCBUD

UBC Chemo - 80% Indica, 8-9 Weeks, 12 seed pack 75.00 dollars LOL.

Two rows down is BC Cheese...... Says Hybrid, 8-9 Weeks, 12 seed pack 75.00 dollars, Fems for 125.00 I think? It's really old and needless to say this particular description appears to have been drooled on..... LOL. Doubt they will honor this price assuming they still exist and still have this one. They also have Chem Fire listed LOL.

Well, I guess we shall see!?
Ill crack some for the first of the new year, I have a bit to grow out already and it’s almost at the “stuffed” point, for when the “currents“ hit the big girl tent.
But hey, I can shuffle??
( and now you see why i can’t scrog)…lol

You in a block of ice waiting for a chinook, @Jewels , or have you chipped your way out?

It is fucking nasty here this morning, but it gets better pretty quickly after today.

Doing a mini xmas on the 27th, so likely fishing on the 25. Can't wait to get outside.

I saw this years ago and just stumbled on it again.

It's a collection of stories of how the show affected the lives of a wide array of people. It's not glitzy or hollywood, but it if you were a Corner Gas fan this will give you some smiles.

Chinook is here!

My front yard is flooded from the curb, right up to the front step.

Driving is bad enough, and when you step out of your car it's worse.
I honestly much prefer the weather up here. You guys in the south just yo-yo back and forth.
I know it's going to be sub-zero from December until sometime in March. Down there you are -30 one day and +10 the next. And that fucking wind..... I spent a bunch of time in Lethbridge during winter in the late 70s-early 80s and it seemed like it was 30 kmh+ on calm days.

I hope your yard is able to drain before the next deep freeze. If not, bonus skating rink. ;)
All the best to you and your family, J.

I thought this was a joke man. Those temperatures are ridiculous. Truly appreciate and respect you guys for that. Makes you wonder what it was like 100 years ago.

Cocaine was legal then, I think that and whiskey probably kept them going some times haha. In all seriousness; The cold CAN get downright rough, but the clothing you choose matters; I have a pair of Bootys that are rated for -40 Celsius, and then you layer clothing a bit so that you keep that wind out. Those little hand warmer packs they sell almost everywhere also can help, and nothing says you can't put them in a shirt to give a boost of warm.

Lots of people use those. Even electrically heated socks and gloves and vests and hats and jackets are becoming a thing.

I won't use any of them, not if I'm out fishing or doing any winter activity.
Mechanical things fail, especially in the cold. I want my clothing to be able to protect me without worrying about batteries or chemical reactions. Proper layering of wool and synthetics will keep me alive without any of that. (tip: second hand stores are a great source of wool sweaters and blankets)

Those electric and chemical devices are fine for watching a feetsball game or taking the chill off when you are driving, but not for when it actually matters(IMO).
