Chernobyl & PBB clones

What's up everybody 👋 just wanted to fire up a journal for these babies, still veggin' in the 2x2 getting ready to flip in about 2 weeks.

BobBitchen Chernobyl seedling & two ThugPug Peanut Butter Breath clones.

This was about 2-3 weeks ago. And this is as of now:


Still enough height but I'm running out of elbow room for these plants. The solo cup contains a cut off this Chernobyl

Saving it, because I've grown out one of these Chernobyls from seed before & didn't keep a cut & most definitely should have. Lesson learned.

Here's a peak at a Chernobyl I have in flower now, this isn't the one I should've kept a cut of but it's impressive nonetheless

This is day 57 flower. My previous Chernobyl was "cucumber lime tennis balls" which was AMAZEBALLS, this one is a bit musty almost mushroom-y with a lime-fuel funk to it. Still the frostiest set of plants I've ever grown.

Looks amazing! Hopefully it turns out better than the one that got away. I finally got my act together with clones this summer. I'm not going to lose anything else.

I just had in my head, "well i have more fem seeds, no need to keep anything" 🤦🏻‍♂️ lol, big mistake. I still prefer the mystery of seeing what a seed will bring, over running same-same clones all the time BUT, between my Dad and I we should still keep a couple things around while we continue to explore seeds 👌

Welp, my All Gas OG is throwing a bunch of late stage nanners so I'm gonna call it done. Chopped at 61 days, wanted to push it to 70 but she's definitely done enough right here.


Moved the PBBs into the flower tent because they're just way too lanky and tall to keep stuffed in the 2x2 any longer. Caged em, supercropped em a bit, and they're off. *For the love of god, I just can't atop staggering my flower runs 🤷🏻‍♂️ but, to my credit, it does keep things moving along.

I also prefer growing from seeds, and most of the packs I've grown from the past several months have given me fire. My feeling is if I want to quit buying seeds I need good cuttings to make more. I'm sick of paying over $20 for a single seed.

As far as I know, none of the fine seed makers that call this site home charges even half that [ retail ]. Also [as far as I know] fire seems very attainable in them all.

Got the Chernobyl transplanted into a 5gal & ran out of coco, so I'll top the pot off with more coco later. Juuuuuust enough coco to make sure no roots are exposed, but i definitely want the pot fuller. I find that the bigger pots of coco allow for more moisture to be retained between waterings once the plants reach full stretch in flower. My 3gal pots were going bone-dry between waterings.

It fills out this 2x2 pretty nicely, i would flower it in here but this light is fantastic for veg, but too weak to adequately flower even one plant, at least for my liking. (95w Bloom Plus BP1000). Gonna throw this plant in the flower tent next weekend.

OK cool, got everything into the flower tent, ordered some CFM bars to keep the tent square. 8 days in, the PBB clones are already starting to show flower, which is about perfect because I want to run these clones to about 77-80 days, and i think Chernobyl will be good around day 70 or so. We'll see, but I think I actually staggered them properly for once 👌

This run is going AMAZINGLY well

Chernobyl in front, two PBBs in back.

The Chernobyl is starting to get bleached on a couple of high-up tops. Overall aroma of this plant is incredibly refreshing for cannabis, it's a lime-citrus zest with a sort of new fabric/sunscreen vibe to it. The smell of Summer.

The PBB contrastingly is your expectedly pungent, funky "offensive" smell in most cannabis. I swear these clones smell "deeper" than my previous runs, these are almost fecal/dogshit essence, INSANELY sticky. The Chernobyl has more overall frost but this one is just way way stickier.

Damn. I'm gona have to change my name to "IntermediateBuds" after this run 🤣🤘

I can't believe this is day 50, it looks insane to me. Like, almost done, but it's definitely not. I'll start seeing more white pistils like this single one emerging here, and the foliage will turn almost leather-black.

OMG yes, like worse/better than any previous run! My dad has held this cut for about a year, we got it from @pwnytailjoe , and it's always been a medium-low yielding very nice iteration of PBB. .. it's nutty, earthy, super gassy and heavy hitting.

This particular run they're reeeeaaally stinky, like buttery dogshit. Only thing I can think of is I'm being really religious about my water and feed habits past mid flower, i often get lazy & skip waterings but not this time, I've been really on the ball.

This particular Chernobyl is more seemingly sensitive to intense light than my previous couple, but the overall structure and aroma up until now are ON.POINT! Has a really fresh lime-citrus zest with that smell of a fresh pair of Nikes 👌 or a can of tennis balls. I swear I also get a sunscreen/SPF100 vibe nobody else seems to pick up on but me 🤷🏻‍♂️ so far, anyway.

Sorry to keep spamming these but OMG🔥🔥🔥

Pictured at day 55, this PBB is more rank than ever. SUPER DUPER sticky, also moreso than previous runs. Smells on point to its strain but with a really deep "fecal" funk. Was gona run it until day 70-77, but will be probably pulling more like day 63-65.


Pictured at day 47, this Chernobyl is progressing very nicely! So incredibly fresh, a great contrast to the "poopy" PBB and although visibly more frosty, not as sticky as PBB. Will be crossing this in my upcoming Slurricane seed run, should be an interesting result 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wow man, I'm reeeeaallly struggling with letting this go much longer:

PBB at day 61. One of the two plants doesn't even seem to be drinking water anymore, but one still is & they look identical (pictured is the one still drinking). I don't want them to do anything undesirable from stress or whatever, so I think day 63 is the day.


Chernobyl is eight days behind in flower, so that's what day 53? --this one will probably need to go a solid 70-77 days.

I couldn't pass up the almost perfect drying conditions so I chopped down the PBBs. Because it's Winter & it's raining, humidity and temps have been as close to 60/60 ad I've ever been able to get. Holy shit these plants are R A N K, it's an overwhelming smell of fresh stepped-in dogshit but kinda buttery.

It seems the Chernobyl is growing THROUGH its light bleached tops----or, sort of

The white part almost appears to be turning more green, and thankfully the rest of the flower itself seems to be decently bulking. It smells like a fucking sporting goods store in my grow tent, swear to god it's NUTS, like tennis balls! It's amazingly refreshing, not super loud but once you disturb a flower the aroma really shines.
