Chernobyl & PBB clones

Thanks you guys. The PBB is already smoking nicely, a real nice linger on the palette & a nice heavy buzz.

The Chernobyl I pulled right at day 63, coulda went 70 but I like where it is now. A previous pheno I ran 77 days and still coulda taken more, but my general opinion on Chernobyl as a whole is 63-70 days 👍

Forget about gm/watt. The new measure of a harvest should be gms of scissor hash per oz of flower🔥 PBB gets me more scissor hash than the old Gorilla Glue used to get me.

*Edit: okay maybe not 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣 lol! I thought this would be like an eighth but was barely more than a gram. Still the most scissor-yum I've got off two plants 🤘

Chernobyl still needs a day or two to dry. The buds are kinda airy so it should generally dry sooner than the PBB did. Snipped a sample off, OMG the aroma is incredible, the taste is "fresh" almost cucumbery, but it still needs more time to dry & chill.

5.9 oz off the single Chernobyl plant, not bad!

Side by side comparison of as equal sized as i could find, nug of PBB (left) and one of Chernobyl (right). Chernobyl is much more airy by comparison. 1000003537.jpg
PBB nug on scale

And the Chernobyl. The 5.9 total oz takes up over half of a paper shopping bag, the 8oz of PBB was like 1/3 full bag.

This was about 2-3 weeks ago. And this is as of now:

Still enough height but I'm running out of elbow room for these plants. The solo cup contains a cut off this Chernobyl

Saving it, because I've grown out one of these Chernobyls from seed before & didn't keep a cut & most definitely should have. Lesson learned.

Here's a peak at a Chernobyl I have in flower now, this isn't the one I should've kept a cut of but it's impressive nonetheless

This is day 57 flower. My previous Chernobyl was "cucumber lime tennis balls" which was AMAZEBALLS, this one is a bit musty almost mushroom-y with a lime-fuel funk to it. Still the frostiest set of plants I've ever grown.
chernobyl was one of the first plants i grew, always loved that limey terp to it and great buzz. nice job w this one!

Thanks man! I wish I could get my hands on TGA Subcool gear, but I can't complain. @BobBitchen killed it with his reversal, this has been a very consistent pack of seeds---except for one weird outlier, but I still think I overfed that one.

I'd rather get other people's work based on Tga gear. Imho Subcool was a hype guy. Lots of phenotype variation and instability. Good potential in his strains, but alot were far from worked lines. That's why the hunt was such a big talking point with Tga.
Don't get me wrong there's some fire there. But alot of mids too.
Just my experience from back in the day.

Great points. And me personally, I'm not much of a "hunter"; take my seed run for instance. I'm literally using my last two seeds from a pack and am not vetting the parent stock or selecting anything 🤷 Even when I grow regs I like to grow 2-4 at a time and maybe compare them, but I'm not super picky when it comes to selecting stuff.

It depends on the which F# you're going to and how good the other seeds from the pack turned out anyway. If you're just making a generation of seeds, odds are good that things will work out well.

The alternative would be letting the pollen go to waste. You don't want that. Your friends don't want that. And the pollen most definitely doesn't want that!
