When I got back into growing few years ago I didn't know anything about current genetics so I ordered what I knew to be solid in the past(and he had gotten back into it the seed biz as well, resurrecting some old favorites of mine) I do at least 1 feminized Brothers Grimm plant per run for smoke. This run I have a single DTC-99. Very dense bud structure, excellent yields once you get everything dialed in. They respond very well to being FIM'd and the buds morph together. Not the prettiest but easy to grow & extremely stable. This one Smells of sweet cotton candy, rubber & dank wet soil.
Leaves settling back down after lights off this morning. 31 days since 12/12 switch. Typically finish by day 70 but some as early as 63.

Yes it is!! If you are a Jack Herer fan you should try the Rosetta Stone XX as well. Buds are super greasy & she stacks on incredible weight.

I was watering this morning & she is starting to get the licorice smell from the Durban. I've only had one or two out of dozens that keep that terp dominant when they finish though. I do not like saying the work anise. "Smells like anise in here."

I plan to!! I'm still have a big mason jar full that is cured from my last run that is my 5AM before work smoke! My wife hates it, & says it makes her temples pound and heart beat out of her chest. Her famous line..."what is that that we just smoked."

These very much look and grow like typical "indica" hybrids- squatty, bushy. Beer can sized tops with rounded golf ball size lowers. The only hint is the smell

Day 49 Since 12/12. Pistils are starting to turn orange. Very prominent anise and sickly sweet cotton candy odor.
Note: Running these in in an organic medium the buds are about 25% smaller than my previous runs in soil and coco using bottled nutes, however they are much more colorful, stickier, & the odor is stronger.
Each smells seems to be more defined as well.
