Just about. Since I snapped her she’s about 5ft. If I would have let her go straight probably 5.3/4. She’s trying to touch the sky. I’m going to try to get a full body.

88Killer #9 starting to show some balls. Enjoyed growing this one even though he’s about to get clipped. Clones great and not that needy but I have to see what the females do and taste like in this cross before I deal with any males. #4 is a little slower in showing sex but I’m sure she is female. Going to pop a few more along with some 88G13HP beans from the last cross to hunt through.

#4 is all female. Still early but there are no visual issues and she clones good. She has a musk but again still early. Will take a full body. She looks like a stretched out HP not as stocky/bushy. Excited to see/smell her later in flower. The Haze babies are doing great. About a week off of new shoes. Now the ugly. The 88G13HP female(Lady88) did not take to the reversal. Very annoying but hey you live and you learn. Going to chop the PC3 down to cuts and go back to the drawing board.

Babylon Buster a little over halfway and frosting up. Lower bud hairs already turning heavy. Like this cut and plan on keeping her for a little real pine/meat. Taste minty but more on the aftertaste if that makes sense.
Took this pic to show the structure on this 88Killer #4. She’s giving off 88 with the leaves and bud location/structure but she is stretching like the KA5H. She is still stretching but don’t think she will get as tall as KA5H.
Next pheno hunt then focusing on what’s in the bubble for a few. There is definitely something in the 88Killer and that Starter Jacket genetics sound interesting.

Here are all the haze babies in new shoes. They are doing good. The Hawaiian in the back corner is giving dude vibes. If so ?I will put him to the side to definitely work. Surprised at how the Sour Grinspoon OGs are doing and the Harlem River Haze is showing good vigor. Going to bush them out take clones and hope for the best.
So here’s the ugly. This might be 88Killer #4 first and only run. She’s not bad at all but not what I’m looking for. Decent but does not check every box especially in the frost department. On the upside growing her out has me excited to see if I find a few gems in an 88Killer pheno hunt. Don’t plan on popping any new beans until spring but I’m setting up a wave that should keep me busy when I do.
Smoking some BananaOGx91Chem and thinking about doing another cross to PC3 for more beans.

Babylon Buster trimmed up. Going to clean up a little more then straight to the jar. Giving an overwhelming pine smell. Interesting cut I plan to keep around for a while. Love how the smell evolves as she ages. About to take some cuts from the Haze babies and they will hit 12/12 but waiting for KA5H and 88Killer #4 to finish up. Catching up on some threads. Happy hunting.

Thanks. No mango at all VERY Pine smell with a hint of hashplant. Taste just like she smells. I would say night time smoke then killer munchies. Nice bud to smoke before eating.
Grew this Babylon Buster from bean last year. Ran her a few times but she didn’t check all boxes. I would not say mango but she had a little tropical taste to her.

Next batch about to hit the jacuzzi. Excited about this wave and looking for females only (mean it this time). Should be some interesting flavors this wave. There are a few others I’m going to pop they just didn’t make the pic. I’ll post them later. Fingers still crossed for a Hawaiian male but the Haze babies doing good.

Ladies doing good in flower a couple weeks in. Pretty impressed with the Harlem River Haze and the Hawaiian female but that’s just off looks. SGOG is still throwing variegated leaves. No strong smells right now but it’s still early. Chopped the Hawaiian male down to cuts but will be using him in the future. Didn’t want to seed up the whole tent. Will get better full body pictures up later.
Tried a method of keeping cuts in the crisper as a fail safe if all went bad with my cuts in the tent. Heard you can keep them this way for a while. Never tried it before but happy with the results. Some of the stems became mushy. Most are doing good and some even have roots which is crazy.
Popped some beans because of a mishap with my previous wave so starting fresh:

My MoBay Pie keeper showing all kinds of purples. Didn’t expect that. Smells earthy with a hint of animal shelter. Been lurking a little but going to start posting more again. Been super busy but the world keeps spinning. Got a few new projects going. Catching up on some fresh reads here new and old.

88Killer #4 lower nug
Will get better/full body pictures before big chop just wanted to get a pic of a slightly manicured lower nug before lights out. Like to get some fan leaves off early so I can work less during trim jail. She gives off a tootsie roll smell but not chocolate. Just smells like what the candy smells like but if I had to pick a flavor I would say vanilla. She passed a few stress test, a little needy when it comes to being feed but if she pass taste test I’ll deal. Definitely taking her another round.
