Golden Tiger and crosses I’ve made with it are nice and motivational, overall, and all GT dominant so far.
I haven’t found anything that was "too much" yet, or anything near the reports I’ve read, but at the same time, the ones I did finish didn’t exactly have optimum conditions throughout their lives.
Thankfully, I still have a shitload of S1s and crosses to temp fate with, and find my keeper. (Partially thanks to those less-than-optimal conditions causing herms)
I have 5 or 6 S1s at 10 wks right now, and a couple with the same reversed pollen donor, but crossed with a "Florida OG" cut, and Orange Cookie bagseed, at 8 wks.
If I showed you unlabeled pics, you probably couldn’t tell the difference.
That’s how crazy dominant the GT is, IME.
I’ll take and post pics to my journal soon.
They’re mostly funky/savory smelling, from anise to something that ranges from onion to general deli sandwich smells. Can’t pin it down yet, and probably won’t matter after dry and cure, but I doubt they’re gonna turn to carrot or fruit though.
But, yeah, I’m looking forward to my first Ace stuff in a couple years now. (Just wish i had the extra yield to cob it)
I enjoyed my previous experiences, long story short lol
Oh, and got my best yield off GT too, ~6oz in a 1.5’ wide, 1’ deep, 3.5’ high area, using 1/8 of a 400w vertical tube LED.
She and her offspring stack, with surprising weight, but I’ve seen the KA5H do that too. It might come from the Malawi, along with the meaty smells.
Ironically though, the latest crosses I’m cooking are with the most Thai dominant sister of the group.
She still stacks, but no meat smells- just grass/lemongrass so far.
Crossed her with a Cookkes strain, a Strawberry strain, and Skunk#1, I think.
Cant wait to see how that KA5H turns out for you!

Who does not like a good "long story short" story lol. That was some good reads and it sounds like you have some fire crosses there. Definitely will be looking out for those post. Never ran any of their gear before.

This is something I want to experience. The smell description sounds disgusting, but makes me think that it would have a strong high that comes along!

Well I just popped some beans from the same batch looking for a nice male or two and a few females to make more 88. If it works out I'll be glad to share the experience. Sharing is caring. It is a strong high that builds up comfortably and not just a smack in the face. Most of the phenos from this batch are kind of uniform so I'm excited to get what I'm looking for. I'll post the progress.

People say it is a "hype" strain. Runtz concentrate makes me float for hours. I have about 4 Runtz crosses in my stash. Just waiting on the right time to pop them.

Sounds like fun. I am going to make seeds for my first time this year. I will hunt through the following season. It is so exciting to create then partake. Every year I pop new beans and I have yet to be disappointed. Magic in each bean.

Just documenting Banana Piff#1 at one month. Showing great vigor. Has the same bud structure as PC3 just thicker. Smells like Piff with a muskier undertone. Pretty much coming into her smell. Anxious to finish her already. Popped a bunch of the Banana Piff beans to start this hunt. Would like to see if I can get some that look like the Banana with Piff influences.

Hashplants are coming along great. Still early so nothing too stand out or interesting. Culled the high society and all the cookie Cargo except one. They were growing funky. The Banana Piff beans are going good still early for them too. Planning on making more beans to work with. Banana Piff#1 is starting to look good. Took some cuts for another run and more torture test. Still has the bud structure of PC3 but is starting to fill out like the Banana. Will get a full body up soon.

Thank you. I'm starting another bean run this week for more Banana Piff and Banana S1s. Been calling them 91Bananas. Tempted to put the BP in and do a backcross. Wouldn't hurt. Just don't want to track pollen everywhere and hit everything.

Banana Piff#1 coming along. She still has some time to go. How things are looking and smelling I'm sure this should finish good but I've been bamboozled before. She smells chemmy with a Piff undertone mixed with stove top stuffing. Filling out great. Hashplants are doing good about to get new shoes. Ladies in 12/12 for this bean run:

Not going to put the A5 in flower yet. Want to grow her out a little more and get more cuts. Have a few plans for her.
Clipped Fritter Bomb early. She was having issues (not herm) this flip and I just wanted to make a little room. Hung her out to dry and forgot about it. Remembered the other day. Trimming her up and either going to make honey or butter. Wanted to be fancy and try Manuka honey.

Hashplants doing good about to get new shoes(can you spot the A5? She's getting shoes too). Anxious to see how they take to them. Banana Piff #1 close to big chop. I'll get some pics before. The other BP beans I popped are doing good nothing interesting.

BP1 in her dying days @ 64 days. Kind of been neglecting her lately by accident/on purpose just to experiment. Been pushing her to see if she is worth more runs. Clipped everybody but I just want to let her go a little more. Majority of her hairs have turned with some getting there. The stuffing smell is heavy now. You can still smell the Piff but kind of background. Excited for her smell during cure.

Trim jail. Loving the smell coming off the PC3. Hit the girls that are in the closet with their first dusting hopefully they take. Latest mission has been trying to find some pure untainted bubblegum. There are some good crosses but not what I've been looking for. Back to lurking. Will post any progress.

Banana Piff #1 is clipped and curing. Starting to get her own smell. Same smell as flower but starting to get a strong chemical oil/floor cleaner nose. Like eating thanksgiving leftovers in a janitor closet. Still didn't taste just being patient. Focusing on the hashplants now. Culled out the ValleyGhash crosses. They were kind of funky looking and not in a good way. Waiting for the other ladies to bush up for cuts then straight to 12/12. Will get some pictures up after I take some cuts. Hairs on the BOG and BP1 starting to wrinkle up after hit so fingers crossed.

Nixed the bean run. Revegging BP#1 and she is taking to it okay. Don't really want to keep breeding fem pollen right now. Plus there are two of the hashplants that are giving me dude vibes. Maybe I just want them to be but still. Hashplants are doing good. About to take some cuts. Banana Piff#3 coming along good. Popped some new beans because the Green thumb itching.
