The big n tasty is not liking the lower temps even with heat on during lights out winter has arrived & led lighting definitely don't run as hot as HID as I wait for my heater part I'm trying to figure out a heating schedule & get my spare propane tank filled I'm wanting to start with a full tank to see how many days I can run between fill ups My plan is to get this plant in her groove clone & then flip 20201215_093118.jpg

The cold is a weird thing for our weed.
And yes, the HID lighting definitely helped with that.

if you can have your propane tank outdoors, why not a Co2 burner with a Co2 controller and use it for Co2 enrichment + heat? Granted it woul only run while the lights are on (Inless u didn’t run a timer or controller) . You could get your heat + Co2 at like 80-86 during the “on” cycle and then if your limit of heat is beyond what you want have ducting+ in-line fan + temperature controller than w/e it got too hot , result = your in-line fan could bring in ethier outdoor air or your “lung room” . Winter air is a cheap free “a/c” and if you do it that way bs electric and use a propane or natural gas burner that would easily save ya cash and improve your overall results On the environment . I used the, for years intill this current round I switched from intaking and having a server a/c . Now my room became so sealed and it’s running on 2 mini splits . If no Co2 enrichment = my controller will show 0 ppm and while me being in the room and so forth it will go up. Leave and it drops back to 0ppm ( they were def in need of Co2 , would be like you without air) I switched to Co2 tanks with controller and that fixed my problem. If you don’t have a sealed room cause propane needs air to run correctly and willing to have your tank not in your house = safe and would work perfectly

It's weird but I'm having the same issue this year... normally just running the lights during the coldest hours does the trick but I'm already struggling this year. Going to be cutting back on my plant count until the spring I think so I'm only running the tents with HIDs through the winter

My room is in one end of my 9 x 20 workshop I've insulated the ceiling but not the walls I recently ran into this stuff for insulating that is mylar bubble wrap that comes in 4ft. rolls & can be stapled directly to the walls I'll be able to shuffle tents around to put it on we get about 2-1/2 months cold &2-1/2 mos. hot to contend with so insulating walls coming soon but for now it's about adding heat as soon as possible just seems as usual I'm going about it ass-backwards
