20/twenty - Mendocino arcata trainwreck I've selected this pheno to cross with grape stomper aka sour grapes both strained came to me via the courtesy of members here as a rule I don't chuck but I've long been fascinated by the idea of making this cross everything is falling into place the grape stomper is from hazeman for years every time gage green made a drop of it it sold out both strains are shrouded in California lore grape stomper won many area competitions & although it was originated by gage green it was exploited by blue sky in clone form I'm not sure of the whole story but at any rate I'm glad to get my hands on it trainwreck needs no introduction I hope I get the results I'm wanting many thanks to the members that made this possible as our county mascot is the calaveras county jumping frog only fitting I name it frog stomper I am planning a half sister Ill call frog wreck as well

she is starting to respond I see some of the leaves picking up tomorrow ill fill my propane tank z& start fresh weve got rain coming & with it a slight warm up ...ill take it !

I've finally came up with a heating schedule that's giving me a favorable result I'm running heat from 8pm. To 8am. I was really getting worried that I couldn't turn this around still not out of the woods yet but she is steadily perking up she has been lethargic for about 5 days now today is the first sign of a turnaround I've decided against popping any new seeds until I can straighten both tents out I not wanting to risk loosing any of my new stuff our weather not stable at all warmer by day with a large drop by night

I'm wanting to decrease my flood level to 2in. it seems like low temps & over saturation of my medium go hand-in-hand ill finish this drain to waste so I can finish this without stubbing my toe any more as recovery has been slow with proper care I'm thinking this plant could very well be capable of reaching beast status

I've finally achieved the temperature numbers I need to unlock the potential of this strain I knew if I played with her enough she would reward me in kind next move is to overhaul the tub & flood depth so I can set the reservoir timer & not have oversaturation of the medium I'm gonna have to remove the scrog & re configure things the way I'm wanting to & see what my results are funny thing is as long as things are going good I don't seem to learn anything but when things go south I start looking for solutions then the learning starts lol I'm gonna clone real soon this winters events have set me back on popping new strains I'm putting that on hold as I've got this , sin city juice as well as 20twenty Mendocino arcata trainwreck going all at once & new years upon us I'm gonna finish this thread & the SCJ thread out but starting a new thread that is gonna be my main thread for the year

Happy new years I'm happy with what I'm seeing here getting some nice new growth here getting ready to clone soon time to concentrate on feed & filling my canopy it's looking like its gonna be dense

I've decided to pull the tub & adjust my flood depth to 2in. instead of fighting with everything I've removed the scrog also gonna increase the megacrop to 5gr. to do this I've gotta relocate my overflow hopefully I can do this today next grow I'm gonna fit a new tub altogether the plant is light in color I'm also gonna change out the stand with the one from the tent I shut down

I pulled everything out & lowered the return so it now only floods 2in. deep which should end the oversaturation meanwhile I'm putting a fan on the smart pot to dry her out then I can put the reservoir on the timer & automate feeding I'm gonna let her perk up a bit before I put the scrog back in place this is a dense growing plant this is my first of esos strains & I'm wanting to try another but first I want to clone & run this again

Not much change she acts like she is in a state of shock from reinstatement of the scrog

My heater has been shutting itself down got on you tube & hopefully it is fixed now running it in conjunction with the lights at night we will see if the higher lights on temps helps

I fight cold temps this time of year too, and I have at least 2 plants that looked like that in veg before I threw them in the flower tent. Funny how some strains do exactly that when it's cold, and others don't skip a beat. FWIW, I usually just toss them in the flower tent when they look like that and hope for the best A lot of times they burst right out of that funk in flower.

It will stretch pretty good in flower. My bnt was put in flower about same height as others but she is the tallest now. Both the oran jones #3 and lvtk passed on the stretch.

Yeah were getting close to flip I know she is capable of stacking up pretty at this point I'm not wanting to do anything hasty until I can get some healthy clone sites I know done right this could be a very rewarding strain for me

Tonight's pics I'm seeing some greening up on the new growth & the leaves are starting to perk up a bit the reservoir is on the timer & she is flooding daily I'm hoping my luck holds my nighttime temps & humidity is just about right where I want them my goal is to get the screen pretty full & use the scrog to promote the stretch
