Autos man. Clearly this purple roc bud got pollinated when the Magnum Opus threw sacs, but it was so early on the seeds only formed at these nodes with the presex calyxs lol. There's no sign of them in the buds. It's also funny because the seeds are almost fully developed even though the plant is still way early in flower. I'm on the fence about keeping this gal. I don't need the space, and she actually has some interesting terps. It's a weird funky grape and grease smell. Not cooking grease either, like lubricant grease.

But I also don't care about her at this point as the only surviving auto from that expirement. We'll let her ride for now I guess.

Seems like everyday I see something new with this plant. Those pistils must have been at the peak of fertility at the perfect time for that to happen.

Those are always the first ones I pop, usually the fastest to show and end up the most mature. It is bizarre how much faster it happens tho once pollenated . Must be first in line at the caf. Lol

Heading up north to a friend's for the night so just did a quick check on everything... almost 100% germination on that last round so far. Definitely overplanted a bit lol. My germ rates haven't been great so I hedged my bets, now I have to find room for all the plants. But I've been getting more aggressive culling as well anyways so we'll make it work.

Also looks like most of the plants in the 12/12 tent are closing in on being finished so gonna be doing some chopping when I get back home. There's some winners and some losers in there. Unfortunately the SCJ x Swazi Burmese both got really stressed at the end and didn't finish as nicely as they started, but I virtually couldn't be any happier with the FVK F2s. Both phenos are finishing strong. The shorter, slightly less garlicky one is finishing much quicker. The nugs are dark and frosty. She has great structure, nice solid nugs and was a nice easy grow. The taller, more garlicky one is a little less frosty, and the buds aren't as dense, and she's definitely going to need more time, but she's super loud and funky, and the a much better yielder overall. And again, super low maintenance other than the need for some support.

Whenever my grandfather came over to visit while I was working on a vehicle, he would laughingly say "You ride it.....and it rides you" - We can definitely say the same of the ruderalis. I still love 'em, and get 'ridden' probably 40% of the time...????

Starting to chop my way through the 12/12 tent. Here's a nug from one of the SCJ x Swazi Burmese on its way to the dryer 20211206_210322.jpg

As I mentioned, these finished a little rough. One got seeded pretty good when the Hippy Slayer S1 hermed earlier. But the smells coming off this nugs are so unique... one of them is crazy herbaceous and citrusy, like mandarin, dill and mint. Interested to see how they smoke.
