Im a couple months into my current run but will play some catch-up on what’s happened so far.

I was lucky enough to score a brand new Mars hydro fc6500 and 5x5 tent.

New tent, new light. Of course I needed a fresh base of soil. Mix is a modified “coots” style soil.

base is approx 1/3 each peat,perlite, casting.
Amendments per cf
Kelp: 3/4 cup
Crab: 3/4 cup
Alfalfa: 3/4 cup
Neem: 1 cup
Basalt: 1.5 cups
Volcanic rock dust: 1.5 cups
Oyster shell 1 cup
Gypsum: 1 cup
Brown rice: 1 cup

ez pz mix and tote. Approx 1 gallon of water is added / cf to start cook process.

Approx 3 weeks cook time before soils is ready for final containers.
Chose 7 gallons this round for a short veg with a new strain.
(Girl Scout cookie x timewreck) x black lime reserve.
I’ve grown a bunch of black lime pie crosses from this particular dad and the stretch is pretty intense.

either way this was October 10th for the time stamp. 8 plants. 2 phenos

tossed a mycos pack in cause, why the hell not lol. These things were designed for hydro application but should be fine for soil. Right??

Flip to flower - bending and training through net. Decided to go against any topping to see what she could do with her natural stretch with the lowers.

Ok let the madness continue. This will be my last rapid fire post. Snd we should be all caught up through today.
first what did I put into container so far
3 tablespoon : fruit snd flower dry amendment about a week before flipped to flower.

One heaping handful of fresh ground malted barley powder. Then 1 inch castings on the top.

also have watering in recharge twice with the second time being yesterday. Once after plants were established earlier during veg stage.

then nothing but water in between.
plain ole chlorinated city water. Don’t check ph cause it, no filters or gimics. I do let it sit out a few days before use but that’s it.

I’ve done like 4 different crosses of that BLR and every variety is so deep skunky, and very “savory” so to speak. Not much citrus, super fast 8 weeks is almost too long. My favorite is key lime pie x blr

I just did a bunch of BLR crosses this summer. Testing the first one in my tent now, (The White x 88g13hp) x BLR. The Key lime Pie cross sounds killer. Looking forward to seeing what else you got going on here?

Here’s something fun. Current no till 4x8 grassroots bed in 4x8 gorilla tent. 2 x hlg 600. Almost too much light.

let’s check some photos. This round was planted a couple days after previous harvest. Really cool system here.
Chop and drop all leaves of cannabis. Chop and drop cover crop occasionally


Spray mulch layer down daily during early veg and stretch.
Fill 15 gallon res that gravity irrigates through blusoak hose
Strain: romulan x BLR
I think this bed vegged for about two weeks give or take.
