Hello everyone! I'm excited to be part of a forum with so many skilled and knowledgeable growers and breeders. I've grown cannabis for about 5 years, but I still consider myself a new grower. I'm sure the vast majority of you have forgotten more about growing weed than I know right now!

At first I never really paid much attention to genetics or lineage, I simply grew bag seed or picked out the cheapest seeds with the fanciest names (aka white label) from big seed banks. After a year or so I got into autoflowers, especially Night Owl and Mephisto, and I started to pay much more attention to authentic lineage. Fast forward to now, I've been digging deeper into the genetics side of things and I never realized it was such a deep rabbit hole! One of my favorite strains as a teen was Blueberry - now, I have no idea if it was legit or what it even smelled like, but I decided I wanted to try to find those terps again. I ended up doing my first pheno hunt digging through DJ Shorts blueberry and i ended up disappointed. So here I am, looking for some true bonafide blueberry terps. Not gonna lie though, some of the breeders here have some freakin amazing creations that make my mouth water so I'm sure i'll be trying out plenty of interesting non-blueberry strains too!

I suppose I'll share some pics that show my evolution as a grower. I'm still very very green, and got a ton to learn.
I first grew outdoors, but never took pics since I didn't know what I was doing and they weren't really much to brag about!

I started off growing autos indoors using coco + dyna-gro and later jacks.
I had amazing results going from white label to more esteemed breeders like mephisto and night owl.

Over time with coco and autoflowers, I learned a LOT about growing and eventually wanted to branch out into new territory! It was super fun getting half a pound per plant with coco + synthetics, but I developed an interest in regenerative farming and organic methods.

After coco I started researching organic methods. Started with a simple soil base + coots mix. Got into making my own LABS, started a compost bin, and even maintained a little worm farm for a bit! It was super fun and rewarding and even though my yields are puny compared to coco, I can't see myself going back to any other method.
I tried pheno hunting for the first time going through two packs of DJ Shorts Blueberry F5 and I ended up super disappointed in the results. The bud wasn't terrible per say, but I felt that my autos had stronger, more distinct terps and higher potency. At the moment I've gone back to autos, but this current run will be my last auto run for the foreseeable future.




My current run of autos. Rocbud blueberry slushy top left, Night Owl Compton Qoolaid bot left, a sad and stunted Marathon OG bottom right, and a Frost Fire Cherry Bangarang auto top right.

I went from getting half pound yields with autos in 2 gallon pots of coco, to 40-60 gram yields in 7 gallon pots of soil haha. And now I'm getting about a 100-140 grams in 1.5 cu ft city pickers. I'm improving little by little and now I'll be focusing on Photoperiods to continue my growth as a cultivator!

Welcome dude. I like to mess with autos also, have a green gello going right now.

Found an awesome blueberry in a bad dawg freebie summer of 23. Tried the Blueberry HP x RAB and Coville Blueberry x RAB, the latter was the one. Found one seed in that plant, grew that out this summer and its super blueberry too. If you have some or can get ahold of some these might scratch your blueberry itch.

Welcome ! This is more or less what I said when I arrived, I just tore off my 4th, no indoor action for me, your looks very good. There are some auto growers/sellers here, I just can't think of who because I don't grow them although I did try my second year. There's also an outfit that has crunched down on some photo strains that do well going 12/12 from seed, and if that sounds interesting to you tag @Senokai. I was able to remember that because I just heard about it recently lol.

Hanging here has elevated my growing experience I hope it does for you too. I bet you can tap into some good blueberry here.

Thanks for the kind words my friend. Yeah, @proustdreams I've got some different Blueberry stuff. I'd say the best of it is MOB Magoo. While not a pure Blueberry offering, it checks the boxes. Probably the best actual Blueberry smelling line I've ever grown.

I also have a pure Blueberry line that's at F9 currently. It's got a lot of indica blueberry expressions mainly. But I still think MOB Magoo is better overall. I may end up crossing MOB into that line eventually.

Hmmm, you grew up on Blueberry weed you say? --my dad tells me tales of the best sacks he used to score, had a distinct blueberry vibe & he said his plugs always referred to it as "The Kind" (I watched a video interview with DK Short and he literally said the same thing, in the early days of Blueberry it was just referred to as Kind) so I wonder if this geographically puts you on the West coast? Just curious

Great work on the plants pictured! I assure you, you'll love it here, this has been the best canna forum of any I've frequented. In fact, i really only go between here & Overgrow nowadays, lots of nice folk there same as here. Generous, too.

I wouldn't classify us as true "auto" breeders as we don't use ruderalis genetics. Just breeding stains that perform exceptionally well in 12/12 light cycles.

I just popped a blueberry ghost ftom calimark420. Based on my dealing with him, i am not expecting blueberry terps just that he had something named blueberry and something named ghost and it will be some flower. I'll put a jornal somewhere to see how it comes out. My growmie is on a bkieberry hunt as well. He said he got some blueberry beans from a dispo. I also heard that some phenos of sunshine daydream are very blueberry terps. Can't wait to see what you come up with

Do you guys know anything about Goat and Monkey's Blueberry Indica S1's? Cannabis cultivators are some of the most generous people I've ever met. I was talking to a collector in a discord server and we were shocked to discover we live very close to each other! He's received a batch of these seeds recently and I'm thrilled that he'll be giving me a handful or two! I should also mention he gifted me HLVD tested cuts of Astronaut status, gg4, and apples n bananas for free! I freakin' love this community.

I was planning on popping some Nutty North Coco mug x Mean Mug seeds next once my current auto run is over, but looks like I have to re-evaluate my plans lol.
