Grow Lights

I’m doing a 14/10 using an Apollo 125 CFL I won in a contest years ago. First week went okay, rounding the end of the 3rd week the children are starting to throw a few white hairs out. I lowered the light and going from there. Any recommendations on brands for LED lights for veg and flower? My goal for this season is to improve my cloning skills and maybe keep a mother from some beans I’m about to pop.

Welcome to the forum mang. ?
Some added info can help finding the right light your after.
The more data, the better answers. Lol.
As Athena asked, what kind of area are you going to be growing in, and are you setting up a perpetual grow I'm assuming with the mom keeping?
Any heat or cold issues being a concern?
Budget limits? Are you a DIY'r or looking for a prebuilt unit? Alot of variables. Lol

I'd definately get a better stronger light on those flowering girls you mentioned, that cfl will grow them, but likely give you some loose airy buds from lack of light intensity imho.

20”x 35”x 63” tent. I have it in a room that doesn’t fluctuate much in temp. Inside the tent it is usually 68-71 degrees fahrenheit and the humidity does fluctuate from 43-50. The tent has your standard mylar and ventilation holes. I am wanting to do a perpetual cycle, so constant veg is what I would want the light to do mainly, but if it does flowering as well that would be even better. I don’t want to spend more $300 for a new light. I have had luck in the past with HPS, but it uses a lot of energy and throws a lot of heat out. I am typically an outdoor grower with all my varieties of plants I grow.

That $300 budget would be an easy one to stay in for a tent that size.
I'd go with a couple of 4000k qb's on a 240 driver myself. Or a 4 cob setup, the same 4000k spectrum. With a dimmer and just run em soft. Leaves over head if you wanted to upsize the tent.
If that's not a concern, do the same setup but a lower powered driver or light in the 150-200 watt range.
There's alot of prebuilt units out there, or are you looking to build?
You'll get a better footprint if you build, and possibly save some dough.
With the dirt cheap lights out there though, it's getting harder to save by building your own. Lol.
But the custom size and spectrum is where custom is king. ?

Oh man, sorry CA i’ve been sick af all week but put together a lil list earlier but forgot to post ?

With these QB you want about 30w per sq ft

This is the kit I’d recommend with your space and budget.

You can also go the DIY route to save a couple bucks.

No worries. This one seems pretty straight forward on the whole assembly part. Get some rest. If any of you cannot get your hands on cough syrup get some honey and a lemon, heat the honey up until it’s more of a liquid consistency squeeze the whole lemon depending on the size, then drink it slowly so it coats your throat.

Add some bourbon and make it a hot totti ?
