Testing my Mandalorian Genetics Anvil F8 open pollination chuck. Wetting 6x from #03 which had open branching structure and 6x from #06 which was my primary seed mother and had more of a single kola structure. 3x males pollinated #06, 1x male pollinated #03. #03 brings the branching I want for outdoor autos, but #06 may do better indoors, it is also the bulk of the seed I made, and the darkest of all my Anvil seeds.

So I had 2x fail to fires with the direct sown early summer autos. The Twenty20 Trizzlers and WhiskeyZulu. Ive grown out both previously without issue (smoke report to come), the Trizzlers seed rotted and the WhiskeyZulu never cracked, looks new after 10 days in moist soil. No big deal, they were part of the Great American Auto Race package, figured Id send them an email just giving a heads up... My experience. Wouldnt you know it @Twenty20 Adam got back to me within an hour and said he'd shoot me some replacements. Now that is great customer service. In all likelihood its my fault they didnt go, but without hesitation he's making sure I have the experience intended. Things go wrong, always will, but taking care of your customers like that ensures they are willing to stay customers through thick and thin. Eager to see how this Triks and Durban Sunrise turn out, I have high hopes. Been waiting for a sale or promo to pull the trigger on some of their photoperiod offerings.

Table update. These are the fems to my knowledge, the boys or those that had yet to show went outside. Each fem got topped, and has had 1 pair of fans removed daily for the past 2 days. All the recently wet photos are all alive and happy. Cuts on the right failed to root, giving them a few more days, cuts on the left are all rooted. Tried placing this round of cuts in straight peat, in a white 20gal Brute tote, with a single CREE led 5k light bulb to see if it would produce any better or easier results.

Seed testing. The 1 and the 2 went back in the towel, they look good, maybe thick husks. 42hrsish
#06 are going in the 2gals. #03 are going in the 3gals. Each 3gal and 2gal were dumped in a 20gal tub, and mixed with 1cup BAS Craft Blend, then filled back into the pots.
Those are the males or question marks from the 8x of each of the following 3x strains, PCxIyotu, BB, and MC, and a Starfighter Zee male, after a heavy handed hose watering.

Been a minute. Busy busy.
Gorilla Hammer by Freak Genetics (@Frimpong ), 64 days from flip. Shorter pheno.
So ultimately all the Anvil seeds ended up sprouting tails. The stubborn 06 popped the next day and grew a 1/4" tail overnight. 1x of the stubborn 03s popped the same next day, but only had a 1/8" tail, the remaining stubborn 03 didnt go for another 2 days, after I took a knife to it and sliced off the edge of the husk where it splits... It went the next day, 1/8" tail... amounting to 100% germ rate.
Some havent broken through yet, 3 or 4 I think. The Radicle bag far low right is actually empty, and the 4th Radicle Bag from the left has 2 plantings in it. All the brown pots are 06, the white 03.
@Twenty20 Adam got those replacements out right away, think I got them the next day. They went straight in the drink.
I need to order a new laminator to make tags. I ended up marking the flood tray in the corners with paint markers to keep track until then, as well as reusing sone old tags. All these autos have been water only to this point.

It looks like just the one nut, totally different pheno than the other two. Thin bladed sharp serrated leaves, its a Briscoe's Midnight Crack.

Still here, took down 2x Gorilla Hammers, 2x Gorilla Zee, 2x Orangeberry Smoothie, 2x Bag of Oranges not to long ago, as well as the Trizzlers, Whiskey Zulu, 2x Fringe, and the 2x Auto Fem Mix from Rocbud before that. It was definitely a different experience running high plant count, but small plants. Its nice to have side by side examples of so many different strains and phenos.
Heres whats left flowering. Hit everything with a little fish for some N last night.
This is a Vanilla Gorilla x Black Cherry Pie P03, very different than P04 and she got hammered with aphids. She got defoliated a bit, hit with a light spinosad spray, and isolated. Not sure what Im going to do with her yet. Ill likely strip more back tonight. P04 was right next to her and is aphid free.
Forgot to take a pic of the Do Si Dos P02 in the back of the closet, but shes there, tall and skinny af.

Deck update. Had 3x Anvils not go after I transplanted their popped beans. Could have been fungus gnat larvae or something maybe. When I went digging I encountered some. Far right 3gal Radicle Bag is Glue Sniffer by Twenty20, and the larger plant is one of my Peyote Critical x Mr. Iyotu (bagseed) experimental chuck testers (growing 4 this run).
I had been keeping 2x Midnight Crack males and 2x Peyote Critical x Mr. Iyotu (bagseed) males, both MCs had aphids all over them, and one of two PCIs had aphids, this is the first to show, largest clusters, and no pest issues, however the leaf to calyx looks a little high in my eyes. I had considered trying to F2 this chuck, but I think Ill hold off for now. I have plenty to hunt later if the 4x PCI girls produce anything worthwhile.

Cabinet update. Couple days into flip, just took some cuts and did a little defoliation. Those BB phenos arent the same, Ill have to check my 5.5" pots and see if I can figure that error out. The 1gal was transplanted alongside the MC P03, 2x days after the 2gal, and the pots are stacked "chronologically".

Started a quick brew. Thisll be the 2nd real feeding of the OD autos. Applied 15minutes after final inputs went in.
The Anvils will get topdressed with Flower Girl as I am testing for a no frills grow so I can help local friends start growing with an easy to use option from seed to smoke.
I may use it for all the autos, I may decide instead to use Build A Bloom on the Mosca and Twenty20 autos. Here is a 10 day comparison, after the last tea.
