Me: outdoor grower, hashmaker, rosin squisher, occasional pollen chucker and medical user. Worked as a nursery head for small legal farm in cali. All the seed starts up to the time they went in the ground. Ocassional spot checks in the field. I got my pick of cuts and such. He sold the place so now i just do it for me and my lady. Looking forward to a fun season.
I had the worst first round of seed starts, ratio wise, i think i have ever seen. 38 seeds, 32 males no shit. My second round is a couple of weeks along. From Bodhi, strawberry unicorn, lemon wookie v2, mango lotus and cherry lotus. Of my own creation Fruitcake (aficianados pineapple sorbet x wedding cake) and mandelbrots oilspill(royal pheno) x mango tango. I have grown out the Fruitcake before and loved both phenos i got. One was a pineapple candy and pepper, the other vanilla frosting. The stem rubs on this years are making me drool. I will post some pics of last years girls when i get more time.

From my first round I got females of Humboldt seed company's Magic Melon and Lemongrass to go with some oilspills.

Some pics of the bodhi babies about a week ago. top pic is a group shot bodhis and a couple of fruitcakes and a lone fem bluedream and chocolate (blue dream santacruz cut x chocolate diesel) from useful's box o choc #1.
Middle shot is cherry lotus and mango lotus.
Bottom shot is strawberry unicorn and lemon wookie v2 with the bd & choc the little in the middle. They have since been up potted and fed and are a much happier green rest assured

The wife brought home some indoor purple punch from the dispencesary. It had less nose than last years outdoor seven months in the bag. Disappointing but what i have come to expect from those places. Commercial corporate cannabis sucks ass! I will stick to my full sun, full season, full spectrum, outdoor grown with love and attention just as nature intended. Not knocking you indoor growers, you are plant magicians and scientists ina way. I just try not too fuck up and let nature take its course.

Used to get hash from a fellow cook that is to this day the best I have ever smoked. I watched him make it once and have been trying to replicate it, unsuccesfully, for years. He really didn't do anything different. Same technique that is in all the grow books. Even down to the drying. Never cures it. Gone to quick. But mind blowing depth of flavor and high. Regardless of which strain he exracted. I miss that stuff.

Some early pheno differences on Mango Lotus. 4 like the left, 1 of the right one. Hoping for a female of each. the left has scarlet striping on stems and petioles, very striking coloration. The right is all green.

I have kinda been steessin a little on the mango lotus; its mother mango biche. from what i have read it is a looooong flowering strain with some going 14-16 weeks. The way the lineage is listed on the pack is different from the original release by Bodhi. The original is listed as (mango biche x Snow Lotus), the freebie I recieved is (mango lotus x snow lotus). I am trying to decide whether or not they will finish in time outside. It appears that Bodhi hit the original with a second dose of snow lotus for the freebies. Maybe to shorten the flower? I am not as familiar with the SL father as i am with the wookie. I am considering collecting some pollen from an oilspill to smack one up so i can really shorten her up. The oilspill is a early girl. Sour lavender and mango. Mycene bomb anyone. At least that way if she doesn't finish, all won't be lost. Ì'm rambling.....too much coffee and dabs.

Update pic of the bodhi babies. hoping for lots of ladies. The Cherry Lotus crew is staying squaty with tight stacking mostly. The mango lotus and strawberry unicorns are going to be much taller plants. The lemon wookies are kinda in the middle but have nice early lateral growth, they should bush out nicely.

Did you start any of the Lemon Grass? How's the Magic Melon doing? I have both of those too. Hoping to get to them this fall. Your plants all look great but that plantation. Wow would pay to walk around that place just before harvest. Must have been amazing.
