If you guys want sour powder add half a tsp of citric acid to half a cup sugar. Mix & toss gummys in. Dont do too many tho the citric acid may kinda dissolve your gummys after a while if you dont eat them. It really helps hiding the initial pot flavor too.

You dont want it hot. Warm is ok. Heat is the enemy of gelatin. If you are getting white foam when your jello is on the double boiler its breaking the gelatins structure down & to fix this after you need more gelatin.
I am going to back off of the heat some as i defiantly always see the white foam.
I was going to get that at the store with the corn syp......

there should be 5 things in that cart... where is the citric acid
From all the reading i have done on this it seems that cherry flavor works best.

A year or so ago I started using citric acid more for it's anti mold properties. Anyway I put it on while the gummies were a lil wet....... then we put some more because they soaked it up...... then we had gummies that could rival warheads ??

I use an anti mold liquid now
