Old Man McGucket
In Bloom
Hi folks! I'm new here from the Sudbury, Ontario Canada area. I like to call my home/lot Bedrock cuz that's what my house is built on. I haven't had a grow going in over 10 years but I finally have lots of room and I'm also a Health Canada ACMPR patient. I scored some 2022 Landrace Warden seeds out of Afghanistan and Pakistan that I would like to grow out and produce some seed to share and preserve.
1. Wadawu Valley Hindu Kush (purple variant), Nuristan Afghanistan
2. Karakoram Rush Peak (purple variant), Gilgit, Hoper Valley Pakistan
3. Hindu Kush, Khyber Agency (purple variant), Tirah Valley, Pakistan
My limited research so far suggests open pollination is the way to go. I'm still a ways off before I have enough courage to crack these beans. I only have 5 of each so I want to be sure that how I am growing will work more often than not. I don't want to make the big learning mistakes with these.
I'm also a computer geek and a Toyota pickup truck nut... 4 wheel drive fun to get to the best fishing holes!
Cheers!
