Thx for the advice. I’m reusing old promix this run. First time ever trying this. I used to throw away the bags and medium but I got lazy last time I chopped and ended up with a garage full of old bags. So I decided to try reusing and amending with crab kelp alfalfa EWC azomite and Dr Earth 2-2-2. I think the problem is I didn’t let it cook, I potted up as soon as I mixed it. And I didn’t flush as much as I should. I mixed another batch and flushed the shit out of it first and got it cooking now. I used salts on it first run and I think the residuals were fucking up my ph. Had several plants with problems so I flushed all bags real good and things are turning around. I’m a salt grower and this is my first attempt at a water only medium. Any help would be appreciated. I also snagged 2 more fresh bales of promix bx and I’m using that and Emerald Harvest nutes on half of the grow. I don’t wanna change the whole set up at once. I need meds!!!! Been buying bud lately and I HATE it
They all looked like this 4 days ago…. Took half to the hps room and dimmed down to 500 watts. Left the other half under LEDs. Flushed the shit out of all pots. The ones under hps are looking much better. These look the same. @jaws might be on to something here. Gonna move all these to the hps room and hit them with some epsom salts to try to correct. Too much light plus deficiency I think…
These are Ill Eagle testers in 1 gallon pots in the LED room. I think the smaller pots helped the medium get flushed faster. These had a little yellowing going on but they are looking better and almost ready to sex. It seems like I’ve had an unordinary amount of males this run. I’m thinking maybe it’s due to the high levels of phosphorus left in medium reused from flowering plants. How do you guys who reuse your soil prep for the next run?
Got this crazy looking male that looks like two branches growing connected to each other. I guess it would be a quadumverate? Can’t wait to see what the flower looks like coming off these branches. If I could pass this trait on to a female I imagine that would be a monster bud!!!!

I only pick males with an obvious loud stem rub. That has to come first then things like structure and node spacing. Must have vigor with the leaves praying hard toward the light. Best to wait until you find one that really blows you away. Ur better off not making seeds than making seeds with a male that may look good but doesn't bring the terps. Gotta have that loud stem rub for me.
Love that rack set-up you got going. You can grow a lot of food under there. Here's mine for germination and growing micro-greens. Top got some greens for the garden, then peas and sunflower shoots and plenty of wheat grass for juicing. some of these greens have 40x the value of greens you get from the store. canna related things are at the bottom this year(literally). get ur seeds here True Leaf Market
Looking nice bro!!! Can’t wait to get some micro greens going. I love that lush full look in a 10x20. Stem rubs and identifying smells in general are hard for me. I see all these super descriptive posts about what a strain smells like and I’m like wtf? It either smells like kind bud or hay or mold… maybe I can send some samples to @Psychobilly and he can tell me what I need to know…

You'll know when you find the one, it'll be obvious. Just be patient. I have that in common with @Psychobilly, all about the stem rub. He's always asking the same questions that I have. How does it smell and how's the stem rub.

The last two weeks of me being congested are why I haven't done that recently
I am going to a doctor tomorrow though as I'm pretty sure I've got a sinus infection, so I'm Hopeful that'll be over soon, as I have a lot of stuff curing that I can't get those subtle smells from currently haha.
