I'm finding out the recharge kits (cleaner & oil) is no longer available. Anyone using these come up with a solution? I've read the oil they use is cedar/rosemary based but that's about all I've found out.

This filter may have been exposed to PM so rather than take a chance I'd like to know its clean & not gonna cause me a major headache later. I mean it looks really clean & it's been in the bag stored away for over a year now but still that possible PM has been in the back of my mind for a while. Maybe hit it with some uv?

funny story lol, I called them a few years ago and they said they would send me a recharge can and so forth, i double gave them my address and my email. I waited weeks and weeks. The. I called them and my phone instantly went to voicemail? Then I left a voicemail asking them if they sent it? Then I tried a diff phone a month later? they picked up and after they figured out it was “me” they hung up.... why even offer a free can when I wasn’t demanding shit, I would of even paid for it

the alternative I would clean it fully and do it every 30 days on a schedule, maybe even sns 217 might be a prefect ipm for it and look at the ingredients , very similar. Just might have to experiment with the dosage . I know it works great for spraying even on the floors to make pest avoid your area‘s

diy = makes it waaay cheaper, I used to spray all my floors down every week down as a ipm and I still have my oils left, can’t imagine how much it would of cost if I bought the bottled originals lol

Dude for real how you gonna offer a five year warranty but no way to clean it!?... I've got some k&n cleaner & oil but idk if the ladies would appreciate the extra horsepower ?

Companies like that make you blind or not even sure what standard there is on a Warranty there is, there should be or else they can’t be claiming all that bs and soo many times even in their returns or terms. All they have to do is not pick up the phone or or emails and be a bad company like that. willing to take orders but not willing to correct the bad or returns .


makes me soo happy when you find great company’s that are willing to help you out and go out there way to make you happy.

kinda Why I’m so ocd about review checking or even pre-talking to a com-any before buying a product if it’s expenaive, it’s a relationship and do you want a bad one? I like pick the prime if I can

UNI probably still makes the filter to this day, that right there is a solid company. I hate to be negative before I know the facts, but after your exp with them, I bet horti just saw how much more money they could make if they stopped offering the recharge kits...

That shit is why I hate buying anything from most "hydro store" brands. They come out with a product, then when you go to look for any type of replacement parts/filters ect, they drop support, no longer exist, or get bought out by a bigger company (hawthorne, canopy, ect) and the website and customer service turn into a ghost town.
