thats eerily similiar to mine. a decade apart. i start mid 90,s it does amke
Mate your story is very similar to mine only maybe I’m a bit earlier . I started bush growing back in the mid 80s then stopped growing early 2000. Life got busy with young kids and work . I rediscovered my passion about 3 years ago then became aware of exactly what was available today . Wow my head exploded and still does from time to time .
I have to constantly tell myself you’ll never own or grow every strain that’s out there so rather than try and obtain a massive assortment focus on maybe a dozen well reviewed and proven strains at a time and grow them well rather than jumping around between strains and always resetting. You find yourself always chasing the next big thing otherwise which is fine if you have the time , space and energy and as you’ve noted Mr Piggy ?‍♀️ is always ready to make your day .
your head explode doesnt it

sounds like im beginning to enter good company. not sure if its connosieur company or seed junky company but atleast i know there wont be empty seats on my train ride.
@ramjet, i hardly smoke anymore. im actually looking at oils, thc and cbd oils. i have always gotten a buzz out of growing plants and seeing what i could get them to express and show me their flavours. i got some cbd seeds from a mate from hillbilly skunk. going to pop some and make my own cbd oil. as you get older the body starts to get sore and breakdown after paving and concreting for decades. and if friends and family ever got jack dancer or an ailment that required cbd or a thc oil i can drop some by while i have a cuppa. save them getting raped by pharma and the hoops they need to go through to get medicinal cannabis in oz

I’m hearing you mate . I flogged my body hard over the years from intense manual labour before good lifting practices were ever heard of and throw in a few motorcycle accidents and an eject from the vehicle car crash and I consider myself pretty lucky to be upright . I’m only a part time smoker as well and bed time to help the body relax and a solid sleep is why I really enjoy a smoke from time to time . Much like yourself I just really enjoy growing . It’s therapeutic and sharing knowledge and stories and making friends on these forums is what it’s about to me .

When you look like me, you gotta go the Red Green route: "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. ":rolleyes:
i work on the premise ive got a head like a dropped pie. however im a solid thickset fella that is the life of the party. so i might not be pretty but i have the party in stitches and work construction so cover the handy part. after all these years the boys keep saying ive got no idea what she sees in you. they reckon its either deep pockets or a foot long. i reply crazy conspiracy theories and witty retorts. being an expert on one field might have a supermodel hanging on your every word and seal the deal. one of the boys i grew up to would walk up to every woman in a bar and hit them up straight. you want to come home with me. didnt matter what they looked like. tall short fat skinny ugly beautiful. he would go home with one of them. his reply after a few not to smart decisions was, the ones you turn down are the ones you never get back.
funny fucker he was
