I usually do my best to look through as many seeds of a cultivar as I have available, so the entire 7 pack haha. I am quickly finding out that might not be the best route with feminized seeds haha. Luckily, my friend only gifted me 2 Obama Kush S1s. I have 4 of your Grease's Pieces running now. Contemplating kicking one into flower next week or so, as all 8 cuttings are rooted and in solos. Life is good. Thank you again for blessing me with those! Positive vibes...

If you have the room, running whole packs of fems is a great way to find winners. Keep doing that!

So after changing out from 100W of fluorescent while in the seedling stage to 200W of cob lights about 3 feet above the canopy the plants just kept on complaining as soon as I introduced the cob lights for veg. I tried adding Cal/mag and started seeing burnt tips with no change in result. I also brought up the temps a few degrees from 77*F to 80*F as well as changing light cycle from 24 to 18/6 with nothing helping the droopy, yellowing new plants. I decided to change out the light to my trusty old 400W MH and literally 17 hours later they look amazing with great new growth, color and vigor. What a difference!
Sometimes you just gotta kick it old school.
I should be flipping to flower in the next week or so. I'll be doing some more narrowing down in this time as well to get it down to the best (8) girls of the bunch.

"Black DOG" is about finished up @ day 56, but I'm gonna give her a few more days.
"Blueberry Hashplant" still needs another 10 days or so as well. I had to change out filters early because of her. Buds are a bit smaller than last run, but she stinks so much more this time.

Some plants just don't like the led lights. The platinum cookies cut my bro has hayes led and nothing seems to work to make them happy. Does fine under the t5 and hids.
Not sure what the deal is either.

Full on Blackberry/Raspberry. This is the 3rd time I've run her since 2017 and she has produced the same strong berry result every time, every seed. A recommended go to for anyone looking for solid berry terps that translate to the joint as well.
Shits kinda crazy how differently certain plants will act. I've never had these issues with any other lighting than LED. Had me scratching my head for a minute. I was like WTF, I've literally tried everything....but the light. EUREKA! lol
This isnt the first time its happened to me in veg though, but flower is always gangbusters with the COBS. I thought about limping through til flower and decided against it. Glad I did.

I wonder if it is from the lack of uv heat?
I've only ran quantum boards but same issues during veg and when I pulled the 315 cmh and put up boards in flower. But if I start them in flower under the boards they seem to do fine.

What could this be a cross of?
The HD's mom I'm working with now is a Cherry Bomb x Turbo Diesel. From everything I've gathered, my girl leans more toward the Turbo Diesel though and more specifically the Sour Kush.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you conjure up in 2021.
I ran the Cryptic Labs "Cherry Bomb" Regs which are supposed to be from Mrgreengenes stock from way back in the day. He shared it with a couple folks and Cryptic got ahold of it was the story I got. I do understand that the strain is just inherently going to have a stronger chance of intersex though and this is from GG's mouth so Id assume he knows what hes talking about in regards to this particular strain. Keep an eye on her mid flower though JIC.
Ya, theyre most definitely back in "the zone" with the swapping out from LED to MH. I can almost see them growing by the hour now so I may flip even sooner than a week like I was planning to. Might do a lil tidying up with the foliage in the next cpl days as well before flip.
