I use soil more than once too (Not always, but late season clones I'm not spending money on more Happy Frog LOL) but since the seed itself has a "protein pack" built in to get started, I still use fresh soil, but the seeds are placed in Root Riot moss blocks (I know they're for clones but I like to pull them apart at the top and stick a seed in) by the time the roots have breached the moss, they are capable of living in fresh soil in my experience so far.
When I need to reuse my soil from a previous season I generally mix it with a few things (Bat guano and pot ash from the wood stove, and generally some type of beneficial bacteria for living soil) and it's worked out actually pretty well so far.

I have had some inquiries as to why some people did not receive stickers with their testers:
My slaps didn’t land until after I had already sent out the first round of packs. I had also packed up around half of the second round of packs before they came in, so there are quite a few people that didn’t receive one with their testers. My apologies to everyone that did not.
Anyone who didn’t get one and wants one can hit me up for one after they finish running their testers and they are as good as theirs. I appreciate you all! Positive vibes…

ANNUAL ILL EAGLE BIRDSEED CCONTEST RULES
1. Post a picture of the seeds in their packaging upon receipt in this thread.
2. Germinate all seeds immediately upon receipt.
3. Post regular updates (every week or so) in this thread.
4. Any seeds that I have made are eligible to enter, as long as all contest rules are followed.
5. Any pictures submitted can only win one contest. (i.e. the same picture cannot win in other contests that I have or other threads of mine, even if they are on other forums)
All contests and rules are subject to my own discretion. I want this to be as fair and fun as possible for everyone involved.

19/20 into cups today. 1 mikado x trop cookies x cherry west isn’t in the party mood. I’ll try manually cracking it in a few days. So far so good. I’d be happy with that outcome any day.

Pictured at around 25 days from flip.
Shes got a fruity/peachy/lemon zest scent going right now when I rub the sugar leaves. Very pleasant smelling for sure. Theres nothing offensive smelling about this plant at all. Building nice frost rails early in the game too. Shes one of the taller ones in the tent but the structure is still really nice and rigid. Looks promising to be a great yeilder so far and is an easy feeder as well.
