Speaking of Mac1. I threw another one of those in the 4x8 today as well. Gelatos are looking better. Only one is really showing any signs of def at all anymore but otherwise looks happy and praying. Time will tell if more cal/mag than recommended is necessary by Athena AG

broke my fancy new
New, anyhow.
Geometrically unsound.

Was shaped like this?

Micro cantilever.
Not enough span. Too little meat.

Gravity create tension. It is pulling on the top of the clip
Likewise , Gravity is pushing on the bottom of the clip,,, toward the pole.

All force was applied to the material between the fasteners.

Spread the contact points out.
Top one gets a little pull. Bottom one gets a big push.

Not sure how your fan attaches. I did leave the cover off, so as you could familiarly visualize it, with 'yer one good eye.

I think the solution is getting the pinch points further apart.

Even same design; only with upper brace.

I probably didn’t do myself any favors by making those bolts nice and tight to the pole either

My entire setup is on smart timers and plugs. It does make everything really convenient, and I basically only have to go in the room to water, but if my wifi goes out in the middle of the night I'm fucked. Power went out during a storm a few weeks back and my lights were off all day, and since they are on smart plugs, they didn't just come back on when the power was restored because it had missed the set time and there was no network connection for any kind of signal. My router was still down when the power came on, so I couldn't turn them on from out of town where I was staying.

Anyway, they work great most of the time, but definitely have some kind of backup plan. A nice UPS from a company like, say, APC will run you a little chunk, but if you spend the money you can get hours of battery backup with them.

That was way longer than expected and you probably know all of this. But hey, I'm baked.

The first cannabis friendly grow shop just opened in my area. Stopped in for some calibration solution, left with 500mL of incredibly expensive silica. I’m just curious if it’s gonna live up to the hype. It’s cool having a place to buy soil and shit now tho. I’m stoked about it. Prices were actually pretty decent, and there was a grow class going on when I pulled up. It made me so happy to see so much excitement about legal cannabis. 26E12F83-2095-4AA3-AACF-F826101DFB0F.jpeg 7818B32E-1E00-4974-AB11-763A952D2AFE.jpeg

Funny you should ask. So not only do I hit my head on that fan several times a day, but I also have a 12 inch fan on the floor with no cover. I usually find a way to let that one scare the ever living shit out of me 6-7 times in any given watering sesh as I move around the tents. This induces a good bit of emotions from me ranging from simple frustration all the way to outright rage.

Tent growers and fans simply dont mix. ?
I have sliced open my noodle a half dozen times on my quantum board heatsinks and their mounting bolts. My boards are near exactly 3' and my sections are 3' so they hang out in the worst spots.
I sent a joke text to my mom with a picture of my sliced open skull and told her I was going to file for WGCB benefits. Weed Grower Compensation Board benefits, like WCB in British Columbia (Worker's Compensation Board)

No kidding, she's like "Is that really a thing?" Lol! Cracked me up. "No Maaaa it's not a thing, lol! I wish it was!"
