I have been using kangen water for pm. It is ionized phed water. First you hit it with 2.5 ph. 3 days later you use 11.0 ph. No residue, nothin but water. It works. Kills bugs mold and mildew. I get it from a local water bar. Not super expensive and totally organic. All i found was white oxidized bug husks.

Hey Junk have a question for you. Do you trim inner leaf-stem material out of the inner area of the plants in the GH. I had a stem get some rot on my sour bubba in the centre of plant mass. She leaned over so she is growing a little different. Very thick. I removed a lot of plant matter inside that isn’t going to make much anyway. Did the same to most of the other plants I have going.

Normally I would but I couldn't afford to possibly stall the plants on this run. When I do full season outdoor I clean up the interiors until they get too big for me to reach inside, then I just try to keep the bases clear. I'm usually pretty obsessive about training, pruning, and supercropping. This fall run and next spring's dep I probably will. It helps to make spraying for bugs and PMs easier.

Fucken mites, only thing I know is they don’t like moisture. Soap water drenches kill them but not sure how that’s going to effect you humidity with all the water. Probly don’t what your bud tasting like soap.

I sprayed them down with Nuke Em (concentrated citric acid) yesterday evening. It only kills on contact and it was hard to get good penetration but I'm hoping it takes out a good chunk of their population. At this point I'm just trying to keep them from tenting my flowers.

Today's trich check. A common mistake new growers make is to assume the flowers are ready based on senesced stigma (dead hairs). To avoid an early harvest use a jeweler's loupe to inspect the bulbs at the tip of the resin stalks (capitate-stalked glands). We are looking for a clear bulb on most of the stalks and usually 10-15% amber bulbs on the calyces at the tip of the flowers. This is my general rule of thumb on outdoor plants, however every strain is different. Some may be fully ripe without any amber and others may reach 30%+ amber before beginning to fully senesce. If you start seeing a lot of ruptured resin bulbs when nothing has touched them to cause damage, harvest immediately. The Key Lime Pie flowers in the following pics seem to look ready but under closer inspection through a 60x loupe we can see that the resin bulbs are still frosty and most haven't cleared yet. I'm aiming for the golden week, about a 5 day period when the resin glands are at peak potency. After that the glands will amber and rupture, usually producing an unappealing (to me) couch lock drowsy high. People say to harvest early for an uplifting high but I personally think that has more to do with genetics than ripeness and an early harvest just produces weaker weed with a lighter yield. I probably won't feed the Key Lime Pie again since I think it's about to enter it's golden week but it will depend on what the daily trich checks say to me. The Venom looks to be around a week behind the Key Lime.

Don't let the pic fool ya, that's like 300lbs+ of weight puttin some serious tension on those braided steel cables.

I went out to harvest this morning and got occupied by Duck Lives Matter when they broke through the fence and mobbed me in the greenhouse.

You probably would like the Key Lime Pie if you like the real thing. It has a Tangi X'd with Girl Scout Cookie flavor, like a tangerine graham cracker, but slightly less tart than a real key lime pie.

You didn't really miss out, that was my summer dep run. As soon as I harvest the Venom I'll be planting my fall, natural flowering run.

A visit by my favorite skink lapping up the drips at the base of the aeroponic cloner. I figure a Florida boy can appreciate a colorful reptile. We are very arid here in the Cali Sierras so even a small puddle of water attracts a menagerie of creatures looking to cool down. At night I get deer mice and voles taking drinks but it's near impossible to get pics.

50 days into flower, estimate 3-5 days to harvest. They could be harvested in a day or two but I'm trying to get the Key Lime dry to free up room in the drying shed first.

Mostly Venom

The 2 poking out the top of the canopy are some mislabled Key Lime Pie. I decided not to chop them so the Venom leaning on them wouldnt collapse.

I think you'd have had to chop your way into the jungle to even get to em. Lol

Thank you.

Because of time constraints I did very little training on this run so they got a bit wild. It was getting to a point where I could barely get in to water them. The girls will be far more under control for the fall run.

I'm used to plants with 2lbs+ ea of flowers so I'm kind of dissatisfied with this harvest so far. They were spindly and the yield was meh, so-so. I'll need to make some nute adjustments and do my own clones (or all seed) for next year's dep. Plants started from beans are more vigorous and I have some male Banana Crack & Jack Herer to breed which have given me massive yields in the past few years.

The clones that'll make up half this run are just about ready. They'll be planted within the next week, after the Venom is harvested.
