Live mealworms in frass?

Interesting question.

Soooo, the bug you found, is that what produced the frass?
Like finding a worm in vermicast ?
(Native)

Or, is this more akin to finding larder beetles in every bloody bag bloody of birdseed that I buy ?
( Foreign )

Dunno.
Would you lose anything by baking it ? - and in the same breath - why should you have to ?

Literature claims it is a consumer ready product.
Question best posed to manufacturer perhaps ?

If I were to bet I would say yes however, I belive am mealworm will actually consume live vegitation rather than support it as a worm would.

Correct. I weighed the options, it being sunday and all,

I decided I prefer this interaction instead. Will jingle during bussiness hours to se if they are chatty.

Thats along the lines of what I was thinking they'd say after I'd looked up mealworms and what they eat. I would think them being in there may add some good bug poop for the plants as well, and further reduce any dead organic materials to plant food as well.
