I found this a while back and felt the need to share it.... If I could afford seeds right now I'd be all over this one; A parent to Skywalker too!

Flavours reported on different phenotypes of mazari almost cover most things which can be smelled off of a cannabis plant. In order of frequency of occurrence intrapopulation wise – Fermented fruits/sweet melon Diesel/earth foul/rotten protein, sewage sludge like foul smells, which are rarely to be smelled as the dominant smells.

The smells alone...... *Drool*

i have just popped three of those and same ,.. they sound like they are a big chunky indica that could be great for my short season climate .

This strain had me watching the news when the US pulled out of Afghanistan like "MAZARI-SHARIF HAS AN AIRPORT??????"...... I got all excited and I'm still Hoping the Taliban will open a board of tourism and be that legit government they said they wanted to be so I can go visit. I have a location weed dream list of places I'd like to go some day, and my wanting to see some pure Indica plants is a pretty good chunk of that LOL.

Apparently in Mazar-I-Sharif they let the plant's go a bit longer than usual to make good Hash, and I'd probably pay money to smell your plants LOL.

Believe me my friend...you will get nothing but empty promises from the Taliban...wish I would have killed more of them then I did!...if you want a good Mazar...ask FOE20 for a clone of his...he was just giving them away on Instagram because he was moving.

Wait isn't Mazar-I-Sharif a landrace ? Pre-dating Skunk ? From what I've read it's one of the many Indica strains from that region. Have I been misinformed ? As for the size, I can say that Skywalker (Mazar-I-Sharif x Blueberry) gets massive with a few simple pruning steps I've done for two years now; I let the plant go at first totally natural, and once it gets a few feet high, I start taking branches off that don't look like they'll get much light, and it seems to react by growing straight up. In terms of size, the biggest plants I've ever had were Detroit Lemonade last year, Motor Breath this year, and this year's Grease Monkey which easily was the tallest plant I've ever had, and I was growing it for the first time, so the only pruning I did was taking 2 or 3 branches off that were aiming to close to my Blue Cheese plants, so I cut those ones off and left the plant alone after that.

The very back left side up in that wood structure is Grease Monkey, and to the right of that Skywalker, and to the right of that is Motor Breath. The front and and middle sections and far right side are all Blue Cheese, Chem D, Candy Kush, and another Grease Monkey on the right side, and then two Strawberry Diesel plant, and a Bubble Gum and Cactido in the middle of the right side. I mark my pots, LOL, easier to keep track of.

Grease Monkey had a shorter veg cycle purely because the two seeds I found in my bag from the Dispensary were soaked in water and started but we didn't get them until the other plants were already growing, which makes me wonder how big that thing would actually get if started at the same time as the others, LOL. With all those strains growing I've made the joke that we were going to have the gas company out in the woods trying to find the "leak" but I didn't see them hahahaha.
