I attempted these last year and managed to get through after various obstacles.
From memory the lao sa was earthy musky scents, the Lebanese were similar to Sinai with a incense spicy hashy smell.
The mazar dintcgive me much but that was due to the velocpraptors in the back yard. No chances taken this time around.
All seed from this was from real seed company.
Mazar original accession, no the recent n2.
Look there for background.
I had 7 seeds make though from velocoraptors and all 7 popped of the mazar.
Lao Sao I sprinkled out and Lebanese I popped into seedling cells. 24 to a sheet.
Nearly all Lebanese sprouted, I've culled some weak ones and they are going to go into bigger pots today. The lao sa has had a few been chewed by bugs. Both leb and lao sa are in greenhouse where in winter we've hit -4c last week and a few other subzero. Nothing compared to the northern hemisphere crew. They been treated harshly and coming out other side. Lao sa will be uprooted gently today too as I'm back from the big smoke for a little bit.
Mazar, went into crappy soil to begin with, up potted into final pots Friday night and already turned corner for better.
Lao sa getting potted today
Lebanese potting up today
They'll all get a nice foliar ipm today at transplant.
