Dammit. Need pint lids, those would've saved me at least an hour drilling holes and finagling bits into the holes.

I agree that poo god is ridiculous prices, but I never learned how to make subs. I did just find the info on the bulk subs thread and I still don't think I wanna do it myself. Is there a resident substrate person that wants to barter for some?

Right now I'm looking at making 24 jars of grain. The last batch I made I didn't knock up because my PC wasn't building pressure due to a shitty heat source, so I tossed it. I'll just order some ports and filters, appreciate the offer though!

That poo god sub is RICH. I used it last run and they did great. If it's frozen it's prolly still good to use.

I didn’t freeze it. There’s still moisture in it though. Maybe I can spray with distilled watered if it’s not at field capacity. It smelled pretty terrible when I got it haha

RANK for the first couple days then it's all earthy once colonized. I might try to make my own for this round but I'll prolly get lazy and order some, from someone. I got way too many projects going rn for my own good.

So, since we are spending more time at home, we put up a privacy fence in the back. Anyway broke up some spent subs in the raised bed few weeks back. While outside putting the girls new playset together..I noticed something popping in the bed..


Nature provides the best snacks for this labor day weekend...and what a wonderful day it has been.

Flip a couple over with a clean hand and find out! It will work both ways, sometimes they come from underneath anyway

Those were treasure coast. They always stay smaller for me, but are nice lil fun guys.
