Giving this method of growing is not for every one but I like a challenge and I hate using those nets for support of the colas , but I do have one here to use if this crop gets top heavy , As you can see I’ve chosen 4 main branches and tied them down at pots edge and cleaned out some small node areas to allow more air & light into the now prostrate plant , time consuming yes very but I’m seeing the reward as the plants fill out the pot space both horizontally &vertically this crop is in a 3x3x6” with a SF2000 over them @24”above the crop canopy running at 80% 12 to 15 k lux 21.5 to 25 .2 temp range ,rh around 55% to 60% .

Ok here’s another similar grow I’m doing under a VA Viparspectra 600 and the Side Buddies in a 2.5 x2.5x 5’ tent basic tie em down raft them out prostrate I guess it’s mainlining in a crude way but hey it’s keep the troops entertained to say the least crop is 3 cheesedawgs & q cheese from seed , as one of the other cheese dawg was looking sus as a male so it’s in quarantine till further notice. Od .

never quite understood the whole mainlining thing. i suppose in small spaces (like yours) it holds value simply for producing compact, dense buds. I've always found LST and scrog to be better options. The thing with scrog, is it has to be done right. If not done right, its more hassle than worth.

I was thinking, as I was harvesting and hanging, about how every plant ends up having just a few stellar buds.

Vegging and blooming and all that work. For what? Any plant , regardless of shape or size, will have those few , primo buds that we like.
I have once seen it explained that dominance is retarded because each budsite is equidistant from the main stalk.
I like to think of it as pretrimming all that stuff I didnt want anyway.
Like , 'why tax the plant- growing what will end up on the harvest trim floor?'

Spare the scissors , spoil the plant
Grow a bunch of crap I don't want

I daresay it is like a woman - just looking for a little fun ,,,,and having to marry the whole man

Does your light appear (mostly) white to your eyes?
I have the VA1200 and noticed it looks white to my eyes, but shoots purple on camera.

No it’s burpel the side buddies give off that white impression I’m loving this grow thinking I’ll need a net just to support the oncoming buds ... not a net like but there’s no better way I can see don’t want to use bamboo to smaller space . Thanks for liking my grow . Regards OD .
