I was gonna make a home essentials trip to Wally world & came to the same conclusion. I may journey out into the wasteland today tho ?
I just like to save a buck once in a while & sometimes it's worth the wait. I did kinda need the parts I bought & saved about $100 so timing was right.
If you can find a deal on something you desired. that's cool. There are deals to be found.
I've just read too many articles about things like lower grade merchandise manufactured specifically for BF sales, and that the great majority of BF prices can be found at other times of the year.
IMO, it was only created because November didn't have a culturally mandated buying frenzy. September is back-to-school, October has Halloween, December is Xmas.
Some marketing monster/genius looked at the calendar and said "Turkeys aren't cutting it. What can we make up for this month?"
Yeah, I've noticed a lot of the big markdowns are on older models of things too... just a way to clear inventory and make space for the new stuff.
I grabbed some beans from GLG largely because I've been meaning to get some Bohdi but that's it. Even if I had wanted to get anything else my bank is frozen right now because someone tried to use my Debit Card to go on a shopping spree... can't wait for 2020 to end haha

Worst part was on their FAQ where they explained that while you may dislike the Mystery Seeds, all their other customers really, really loved them.

Yeah, some schmoe tried to order a $3k Honda Civic body kit and exhaust system... got flagged immediately haha. That's not in my normal spending habits. Got a call from the bank, froze everything, called the auto parts company and they canceled the order (and hopefully reported the delivery address to the FBI.... damn scammers). Still sucks, basically limited to the cash in my pocket for a few days. Luckily I don't need much!

My brothers card info was stolen & he got an alert to a $200 sushi order placed on his card. Called the restaurant & got the scammers info & delivery address provided which was only a half hour away. Brand new car in the driveway... after we "delivered" his face we "delivered" his car... hes lucky we didnt de-liver his body & deliver him to the desert ?
