We can hug grandbabies again ! What a stupid situation..Not saying anything one way or the other i am done talking about it.

I am hanging in there good man...i retired at the exact right time. Work went to hell in a handbasket and as much as i would say it was my awesomeness it was covid. Glad i dont care.

I gardened up HUGE this year. squash, cukes, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, peas, beans, chard, carrots, and beets and 4 outdoor cannabis plants (GMO cake, Purple Punch, Dubstep, LVTK)

Keeping busy with that and the pool. The weather has been pretty good so things are really going.

indoors..battling myself. Working on getting it back to fat juicy buds and sticking to what works. There is always something.

Today i have to clean up the spare room and get it ready...grandkids can come over for sleepovers mid week when we hit some warmer weather again...the pool held at 23 until last night when we dipped to 10C.

For the kids 24 to 25 is about a good spot so they can swim all day.

My tents are working. that 120 watt board in 3500 is perfect. Eso tent (2 Magnum PI clones and 3 Tropical Dunder from seed on 11-13_


The 3 purple dream that are the dreamiest...looking. I will take cuts and label them just before i flip it. This is 5 footer tent #2 with a 4k QB135

I am also testing some Heathen Raider seeds.
Helloween HP (Super Orange Sundae X BlackLights HP). Started with 6...1 got choked out.....1 was a male and im waiting on the others. The biggest will go back in veg in a bigger pot.

I am running some SeaWench too. Super Orange Sundae X ECSDXBBC. They will be up potted soon. These are half litre pots i use to start seeds.
This is in a growbox with a 36 watt sunblaster and a heating pad. It is my cloner box too.

i also have some hammers going...i found a jar that had a couple of buds. I like it a lot and im glad i started some of those with these Seawench

I think we all have to grow our way through this mess. I am done posting about covid...anywhere. Except that last thing there.

When i retired i read a lot of news stuff. That is bad for your own mental health because when you get ready to rant..you dont change anyones mind, you agitate yourself and then are convinced the world is STUPID...but it is just a difference of opinion. Or a lack of science or who knows what.

The unknown.. human beings tend to hate it...fear it...fear spills out into all sorts of stupid things.

So i officially dont give a shit what anyone does. I will keep my people safe. My wife is a PSW in a long term care facility. I think it is important for me to do my best to mitigate things. My wife hasnt gone to a store in 3 months.

Spent all winter fearing lights out temps. Now, my lights out temps are nearly equal to lights on.

I see you use the Metric system. You are a very dynamic character. You may have retired from work, however if you keep accepting change, you may have trouble accumulating the bitterness that can come with aging.
How are you going to keep those kids off your lawn ?

Sometimes i use metric...but imperial is easier for people to understand.

I was going to be bitter but i got a douchy neighbor so if i am feeling ornery i have a smoking chair by his back deck door and i load up a bong and rip it for 20 minutes....the problems of the world melt away and there is a strange kind of justice in it...

This is my outdoor garden...the backyard part. I went and put some out front too. Retirement...i had to become one with the earth to get through the anxiety and anger of covid...or whatever i was feeling i just smoke more weed...

Vegetables and very mature clones that went outside...i started them in February i think. Dubstep (purple pheno) and Purple Punch (whte grape pheno) were clones i ran over and over...i kept the punch but the dubstep was too lanky...i will find something denser.

Outside its not so lanky.

I have stopped watching the news...and trying hard to avoid trolls...without food they die.
So i believe in harmony. I am becoming socialist as i age but i am ok with that...I am Canadian !!!!
I made this trim hash 3 days ago i think...its dry enough to press but i will give it 1 day. All my trim was thrown in fresh in a garbage bag and i ran it all...1 oz of hash as of this morning. And its spicy earthy incense hash. Like when i was young but way stronger.

Canucks get that titan scraper kit from Princess Auto.. this scraper lets a razor sit about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch exposed. Way easier for the chop chop than a razor in the fingers.
I grew flowers...because they were there but they are polliators for the garden. So I left the ones i found pretty. I have balls so big i can say that.


This is just esosseeds.


I have to get my best friend to get his ass to the doc. My count needs a boost and all he has to do is fill out a form and add 15 or 20 to me. Then we run fill trays of AWESOME SHIT !

But until then i will keep in count...unless i cant find it then i dont count it

So...it works really good. And i really do prefer bubble to kief but....i accidently knocked up the whole bloom room with GODBUD from the 90s. The best way i know to make seeds is to make kief hash in a trim bin...seeds are a side effect...or the kief..its like reeses.

Boards are not ideal for a room. PERIOD. end of story. They work great in a tent but i am not a fan in my bloom room. So i fixed it. now its shaped like

3k board 3.5k cob.....3k cob.

and the tents are running various boards.

That...and nutes need to be dialed to 11...and strain selection.

Oh and nutes. I now have 120 pounds of dry nutes and am making formulations that work.

Veg...formula (MC or Jacks)

Stretch formula...a combo of MC at 300 TDS and Jacks 10 30 20 at 600.

Bloom...i am still working on the final. I like Dynagrow and AN but they are pricy. i might go to a nute line in canada or a bag of 4 12 25 masterblend dry salts to round it out.

Lets grow some colas....i have a stash for 6 months...now i want to make BIG BUDS again.

I have a 240 watt cob from hortibloom that is overheating...fans on cobs what a waste of energy.

I am going to take that cob apart and build a new light...4 cobs in the corners (3k 97CRI citi) with a 120 watt board in the centre (3.5 or 4k).

On seperate drivers so i can run the board until they veg and then crank up some 3k....oh yes it is going to be mine. Cost ZERO. Its all shit in the garden.

Bloom room is at a steady 78 lights on with 1250 watts over 50 feet. The journey is learning...and man i love learning now more than i ever did...because i was pretty sure i knew everything...but i am still working on it.

I am also doing some bean runs for Heathen Inc...these should work out GOOD

some hacks i have found for flood and drains that work for me. I use coco a lot...flood and drains too. I like how the roots stay more rigid in the coco so the plant can fall over and the stuff doesnt spill out...hydroton pellets can go everywhere.

Stepping on one in bare feet...or 10...what a treat. I wear sandals to grow ever since i started switching over to soil.

I couldnt go with jazz or classical in the room...the poor girls...i settled on repeat on a sonic youth CD i like. I think they prefer that punky feel if you want them to be gangster. Rap might work too i might have to get some.

Hacks. use peroxide...1 cup every 3 days religously and you can kiss pithium goodbye...or you might have to go to 1.5 cups if the res is big.

When using coco in the pots when you top up your res pour it through your pots...this achieves a flush every week without causing stress (and those salts love to build up in coco).

Put a bubbler in there...I like how the stems build with bubblers in the res AND it helps keep shit moving. It is not my final bubbler but its going the right direction.

My next round i will sit the planters in the tray (cut out in the tray). When they flood they will flush the pots every time. Its like floraflex on the cheap because i have EVERYTHING to make it.

Pythium sucks because it robs you of your harvest after you have smoked it in your mind...Almost ready...tanking...tanking WTF...what is that smell...

If it all goes well what do you learn? not a damned thing. you become complacent and thing its easy to grow...anyone can do it.

But that is not at all true or literally everyone would be doing it.

I have a friend who thought an 8 pot bubble bucket system would be great....i dont want to invest in a ph or TDS pen. I get a message what is wrong...clawing leaves...yellowing...not growing. lol...well without those meters good luck but you are hitting the nutes too hard and are high on PH..WTF is that ? so..I said get soil and 4 pots...

Thanks to @HydroRed. Every time i run a flood and drain inspired by his tutorial...i think of sin city juice.

I never ran it but...for some reason that is HydroRed to me....and the dude sent me a birthday present. Next spot that opens up has to go fem for my own sanity and the laws of probability (i hit 90% fem to male on the last run)....

Citrus Milf is going in the drink...because i am feeling homey with the flood and drain and the dude that showed me how to make one.

For the record i have a modified version that i do prefer.

I will find the tote volume tomorrow when i get another basin but its the orignal with the oddjob replaced with a perfect fit tote. IT does require something to raise that tote (i use shitty round green 1 gallon planters).

The advantage is it is square and it will flood higher on a pot for a coco in a 1 or 2 gallon felt pot..or root pouch or whatever they label it as.

It fits pots easier and deeper reducing the flop over shit if you fill it. The trick to a flood and drain is...find a plant that suits it !!!!

Who really gives a shit...i have 50 to 60 varietals in the hoard..i think 6 oranges...if 3 of them grow better the other 3 can be prizes in a contest or gifts to friends...cut bait and move on. Because i can guarantee you there is a cultivar for almost any situation you grow in. It is better to tailor what you grow to your conditons and you will have a better experience.

I will expand on this within my conditions as i go forward. In 2 forums now.

I was thinking of a floraflex system for a while but...i like to get in there and crawl and see what is going on. Its not crazy if its 2 am and your smoking a blunt in the bloom room at peace with the world getting a tan...

Its always nice to see someone giving back. Seems anymore the takers outweigh the givers. Dont get me wrong, I love to give and in order for me to do that, there has to be a taker -but its great to see someone pay it forward when they do receive or gain something whether it be a seed pack or some knowledge. I've updated my F&D as well and started using the lids from the totes as covers for the tray. Doesnt change anything with function, just stops the light from reaching the tray. I've also got into pool shock about 6 weeks back. If you aint tried it....pool shock for the win @OldG Stops any algae dead in its tracks!

I have lots of pool shock. I have a pool . I usually buy liquid chlorine in 2 gallon jugs but i got a pool shock powder a while back to give it a go.

The cocentration makes it a fraction of the cost of peroxide and im really craving a new burn experience. I am tired of 30% peroxide burns...man that lingers hot...hot...HOT HOT HOT...lol.

Pool chlorine is no slouch. I will see when i get it going....4 1/2 gallons of peroxide to go...

I hit 6 1/2 feet with purple punch and twinkle tart...holy shit they havent even started to stretch. I have to extend my fence in that area to prevent street visibility because we are going to hit 9 to 10 foot plants in my vegtable garden. The streetlight really messed with my dubstep and GMO cake but they were in 25 gallon planters and i moved them to right in fromt of my neighbors patio door...they will work there!

LOL GMO cake AND Dubstep.....suck it bitches. The cake revegged while vegging because of that read at night street light. They have 30 or so days to recover and i think it will work. I can patio umbrella them in the rainy season.

Rippers might be problematic...so security cameras go in next month. And i will do nightly bong patrols. (nasty fence top too good luck scaling that !)
This was just an experiment. An auto hermied so i knew that streetlight would be a bitch. I just wanted to see if i could get hash worthy plants hermy or no. These are the 2 biggest outdoor plants i ever grew. Outside will only be organic soil forever now. I am glad i cut my teeth on coco (reverse engineering or what).

These are in happy frog and ocean forst (1 HF 2 OF). I have been feeding them every Sunday with Megacrop because i dont understand soil and it makes sense to me...i think they are ok with it.

Once upon a time I was sure i would never fill the bloom room.
Now I cant figure out how to make room for those ones that keep vegging waiting for their chance to shine. Fewer and bigger. I am going back to that idea because they look nicer. 35 to 60 day veg for beefier stalks...bigger buds.

The bloom room is all sweet and fruity aromas. Berries, grapes, oranges, maybe a lemon. The odd faint skunky whiff from whithin a cross but it can no longer compete with blueberries and grapes, pop tarts and lemon biscuits.

A friend called...hey man im going camping...i still have half that jar you gave me a month ago...do you have anything that is about half that strong?

Bloom is now a 315CMH in 3100.
240 watts 3k board with 660nm reds
240 watts 3k board with 770nm reds
240 watts 3k citi cobs
200 watts 3.5k timbers.

It can take no more power without using AC and im ok with it. This winter i will throw every spare i have in here and run them as soft as needed to keep the temp i want. Currently hitting 79F when it gets hot...72 at night. RH 55% Right in the mid to late flower VPD
