The Skunky Dunk madness

I am really digging your layout. I have been growing for a year or so. All good runs, each somewhat differed. Learning as I go, and finding my groove. I can't follow instructions, so pouring over journals like this one help me to "fake it till I make it "
I will take a page from you. I like a long veg myself. However my last run, I neglected to keep low. This jungle thing is fun, although my flower room looks like a clam of bean sprouts. Delectable from above, with the legs of an old man.

On the Maple,,,
Paraphrasing- True breeding, True unadulterated Indica, True Seedbank, runs like a Deere, and finishes first (just like Jewels) .
She turns out half pounders, and actually tastes good ?

Who needs new and fancy ?
Perhaps I should just delete this post, in the name of diplomacy. This feral, 5 dollar bean, is making a lot of strains look bad.

Keep posting this goodness,
Really looking foward to the ride !

Ok, not full indica, just stable, runs perfect, half pounders are easy and it does tatse decent.
Cross it with your favorite and see what you come up with. You may need your big scales!

Yes i like growing low and slow!
We are getting ready to start a all new run thats going to be way out of our complacent methods.
We ordered soil today, got something round and brown and speckled in the mail today and am waiting on another envelope and its time to "just add water".

Does that Maza relate to Mapleleaf ? Is Skunky a closet hashman ?:bong:

Just fronted to back, this whole thread again.
Couple things.
It looks like I could stroll, right across the top of that canopy. Is that an attribute of a net grown crop, and/ or the indica influence? Those fans look like a grapeleaf that I could wrap diner in.

Also, re-reading, it would appear that I was dismissive of the other beans and strains mentioned in this journal.
Not so !
Fates be praised, I myself also, am actually holding the Buckeye and the Rebel OG beans. Mine are due to drop mid-June,,,or as we Canuks
"in a couple weeks, eh ?"
Are you soaking upon arrival? Or, just goin with the fems, for now ?

puts 1 Banner, both Vagos and 1 Noble in the middle.
Those are the only ones that are purple.
My panels are on a mover so the center gets saturated even though delayed at the ends.
Thoughts?
Some thoughts,,
I tend to find my "better" buds, directly under the light.
Premium results, in the prime real eastate? (Nuture vs nature),,
,,,if what I said was true; what if someone overhearing our conversations, put two and two together, and concluded : purple buds are better

Am I talking sense ?or simply comparing apples to awesomesauce ?

Stay cool -and stay home Skunky
(let those other jackasses work it out)

I agree better buds in middle of canopy, not sold on the purple thing.

My favorite flowers. These are not hybrid. View attachment 12893
Will have great pods!

Not wanting to thread jack, but I have some questions.

About how tall is this beauty?

I have a couple out front that are about 14" and the alien head lookin' thing that the flower comes from is visible in the cabbage patch, and all the ones in the back are about 8" tall, showing the same thing.

Concerned that the ones out back are gonna be small -- they're growing much more dense than the ones out front. First round with somniferums, so seeing yours makes me wonder if I botched this round by not thinning enough, sooner.

Do you feed them heavily? Or at all?

I recognize variety plays a big factor in size, I'm just going based off the difference between where the different varieties were planted (have several going).

Hey man, these got planted late so they are kinda medium in size.
30" is average for most varieties ive grown. They like to be planted in fall for spring for largest plants.
They do not like a lot of nutes and do not like transplanting.
Ive grown these for more than 40 years (and yet im still not addicted) and some have 8" flowers and 2" pods.
The green pods are good but the dark almost purple pods, those are the potent ones!
This year was a little wet so they didnt do as well as usual.
Here are a couple from 2 years ago, a good year. IMG_1407.JPG IMG_1058.JPG IMG_1500.JPG IMG_1384.JPG

I guess i was stoned when i ordered our tent.
I thought it was a Vivosun but its a Mars.
Im sure they are comparable though.
It does seem very nice. Nice textured pattern inside.
We are in the process of clearing the space for it.
It was occupied by a couple 3D printers and at least 30 new rolls of filiment.
Any DIY 3D print folks here? Wanna make a deal, lol.
Still waiting on tracking for fem seed order.
On a side note, not very happy with the Bruce BX. Just kinda sweet and low head.
Maybe it just needs a little longer cure,,,,
