Ya I'm thinking of adding a few CMH in the mix when I get some Extra chezze
pun intended?
Very interesting. Like you're simulating the Emerson Effect? Very cool approach using HID. I think the main thing you will see with LED (from what I've been observing running "real" LED [non-blurple], and from what I've read from others' experiences), you may not see as full of development in your lowers. I think this is where the "COB vs QB" difference comes in, where COBs seem to penetrate like an HID, vs. QB where the light dissipates more at the top of the canopy.

Are you considering a 10K finisher? I'm thinking of doing that with my current run using 10K CMH.Yeah im trying to give the effect of the fall sky. I completely turn the MH pair off the last 2 weeks and in theory give less light but i have found the plants do respond to it.
I forgot if i mentioned i ran tge HID setup on a mover and am doing the same with these leds. Im getting as good if not a tad better penetration to the bottom of the canopy. Very little lose of green even down deep.
Personally, I am really liking CMH in the mix with LED. HPS, while very effective with "brute force," gets really hot especially if you're running multiple units in a summer garage (I've given up on that). It seems to pack on more weight than just plain LED, but the LED make frostier buds IMO. The frost from LED vs. CMH is even more different (I prefer CMH frost, the trichs are elongated and cover the bud, making them look "fuzzy.") I had one plant that was catching 3 different lights on different parts of the plant. All of the buds and leaves were different from each section, so I think the LED effect is definitely one of the things you're seeing. If you haven't noticed already, plants under LED generally eat up more Cal Mag than plants under HID, especially in water systems.
Exactly. One of the big perks of LED. You have 1000s too, I was already frustrated with 600s. I can only imagine with some of those Magnum XXXL hoods.reflectors take a lot of room.

No im running 600s. Started out on 1000s last century but switched in 2008.Exactly. One of the big perks of LED. You have 1000s too, I was already frustrated with 600s. I can only imagine with some of those Magnum XXXL hoods.
Ahh my mistake, apologies for the misspeak.Actually that is something i have zero knowledge about.

I run a 600 hps and a 600 mh conversion bulb in each Magnum
Yes, a pair of eyes.Ahh my mistake, apologies for the misspeak.
Are you running hortilux?
So tell me folks, what the negatives to fem seed?
Im aware of the positives, but what about the plant itself.
Fem seed plant, can it be crossed with differant male and if so are offspring back to M/F genes and all good or not?
Ive grown for ever but have never grown from fem seed.
Or should i make a thread somewhere pretaining to this?
Schwaggy p had a good sts tutorial in his thread I was skimming thru it this morning ?
I'll send you some Beans.... just need a addySo the only beans i have left im gonna pop today.

@Reno's Need to Get this man into the Mix...
I'll have them in the mail this weekend... I'll wait a few days so I can send some Love Dust form a maleI will take some Capt!
Ive been buying from big seed banks forever but they seem to be slacking the last couple years. To much competition maybe.
I'm ready to try some "craft" seeds!
