How much you using for each bag?
How are you storing the syringes?
I'm really hoping this works well for you.
I put about 1 ml of spore liquid per bag. I stored syringe in their own zip lock baggie in the butter drawer in fridge.

Im hoping reusing the syringes will not be an issue since I thoroughly cleaned them with 70% alcohol during and after use. Tried my best to keep everything as sanitized as possible.

Depending on how this adventure goes ill probably order a liquid culture syringe next. Should speed things up and lower chance for contamination. Yetis or blue meanies im thinking

It it loads its a video on transferring from bags to bulk. Dude got 22 grams 1st flush.

Just read about a similar method but dude wrapped bucket with a sleeping bag to help keep heat. Bucket tek, some people apparently frown on this and say PC is only way to go. IDK

Also they add gypsum and vermiculite to substrate. And lined tote with construction style trash bag to prevent side pining, and you could lift right out of tote.
I have no idea what that is but it is bad?? Again IDK

Im going the lazy way. The PC just eliminates contaminates 100% were as hot water more in 95-98%.

The plain coco leaves less chance for contamination since coco adds no nutrients.

Dude in video was pulling 20 gr a flush so that's nuts to me. Im sure he was doing isolated agar or LC vs MS syringe.

I just watch second video. I'm very impressed, thats great harvest.
The floating the cake was clever.
I'm gonna end up doing something similar to this also

Ok so I thought they were 50% earlier when I said that but feeling bags now I'm more around 50%. That mycelium chunk is hard like a rubbery rock. So I did the break up way too early. Might give it a go again this weekend.

It'll be 1 month on the 23rd and I've read it can take 6. Gonna get a new heating mat with thermostat so I can set it at 80f. Help speed up the other bags with consistent heat.

Not sure if your near one, but Tractor supply has syringes of different sizes as well as the needles of different gauges/lengths. I paid .99 ea for 12ml syringes. Everything comes pre-sterilized.

I got 2.67 quart tubs and 6 quart tubs to transfer to bulk. I figure the 2.7 quart will be big enough for 1 rice bag and 6 q for 2 bags. 1 bag will fill about 1 inch of smaller container and you want 2"-4" height on coco/rice mix total so should work out right.

I was thinking trying 1 bag per 6q but I think thats stretching it too far. I think the smaller container will still provide a good chance at a decent little first harvest.

If I could get 7 - 14 grams from each bin, stargazer and golden teachers, Id be very happy. Then if I could get 3 or 4 flushes off each as well then ill make chocolate treats to send friends. Understandably getting less each flush.

If these other 4 bags colonize then ill go big on zee fruit! I ordered a new heat pad with thermostat. Gonna throw bags in a box with heat pad to keep at constant 80f. Hopefully speed things up a touch.

I'm curious to see the difference between the two strains gazers vs teachers.

Im nerding out over here. Already wanna buy more varieties. There are jedi mind fuck liquid culture at itw and it has me itching.

Not sure about tractor supply around here, Coastal Farm for sure which is similar.

But I meant reuse syringe because it was the syringe I originally bought. I used the 2 syringes to inoculate the 2 bags then put syringes back in fridge.

Then a few weeks later I pulled those syringes out and used what spore juice was left. After that I tossed the syringes altogether.

ITW is kind of light of effects descriptions - but have the Mexican Sombrero on the way...?
Have read numerous reports that for straight microdosing, 'Ecuador' and 'Koh Samui Super Strain' are good choices, as they're not finicky to cultivate, and the gentlest on the stomach.

Im gonna try transplanting the mycelium tomorrow. Its as colonized as its gonna get. Haven't checked in about a week and it was almost there so hopefully its colonized fully but its closing in on 6 weeks and I don't want the rice to ferment. Ill get pics when I cut open bags.

I want to try them KSS next, i’ll have to look up those others you mentioned.
If you are worried about stomach problems or cramps I would definitely suggest trying lemon tek. I tried it and been doing it exclusively that way the past couple weeks. It feels much cleaner, zero cramps and is noticeably stronger.

I opened the stargazer and golden teachers bags from 10/23 today and neither was fully colonized to the top but it looks like the rice was starting to get mushy looking.

The stargazer was bruised looking with blue color where I was squeezing the bag.

The golden teachers mycelium looked much better but still didn't colonize to the top. I totally forgot to get a pic of the gt mycelium but ill get better pics with the other 4 bags coming up next.

Here is stargazer tub right before I put lid on it and set it in wardrobe closet.

I'll let them chill like this for about a week then hopefully induce fruiting, if I'm successful.

I have never heard of Lemon Tek - but will definitely look it up now. Thanks a bunch!!!
