did you see the 1 test bean I popped out the bubble hit with deep Congo pollen? It’s smack dab in the middle in appearance, flavour, etc. I can see the red in it, but so much purple from the d c that is sorta blue lol. Anyways if I planted the rest they would al be similar but also different, leaning one way or another.
So I’m this case if you plant a decent amount, you will find what your looking for but just mildly influenced by the bodega Nigerian. And that’s a good thing because the Jedi s cross was consistently similar to the gummer in flavour but better yield and more potent and also will tame the no ceiling high of the gummer.
The gummer had only moderate yield and potency but you can smoke yourself crazed with it. You don’t mind smoking a hoot extra for it to zoink ya cause it tastes amazing.

I once planted 3 freebie beans and out of the two females, (Chem, Rom, white Widow influenced) both were absolutely keepers and also different enough folks wouldn’t know they were related bud wise but they were almost identical structurally and in appearance while growing. One had the weird leaf curves like a chem I saw on scshwags journal. One did not. One i liked best and one Aunt Rom liked best. Wild eh!?

I’m giving my seedlings a couple hours of darkness now as they seem to like that more that 24/7 light.
They are almost up to a full big boy dose of fertilizer and getting hit every 2-3 days. That will become every day once they grow into the new shoes. Coco is interesting. Like an old school slow drip feed hydro bucket, except I do the dripping. This high grade coco is like a firm sponge and the plants like it quite damp. My old cheap coco bricks are shit compared to this fancy stuff. I had to let them dry up plenty between watering. This coco seems to always have good oxygen.
They are under a 125 watt led rig atm. It’s a full spec strip averaging 3000k. Going to put the 3500k Cree cobs up next. They can handle it and will be better spectrum for structure.

That bag looks like Royal Gold brand graphics. Not trying to scare you just sharing experience. I got 25+ bags of Royal Gold Basement Mix and they came with a shit ton of fungus gnats. That battle was almost as bad as spider mites (that's saying something cuz outta all the pests I've had to battle, I absolutely HATE those little fuckers. I cringe when I see the local farmers putting huge nets over their trees to protect from hail, and it resembles a spider mite web infestation).

Shit bro.. looks the same besides the logo and stripe.. hopefully not full o bugs cause I love the stuff. Got chatting with a grower at the shop and he said he like it and mixes it with a bit of this house brand fox farm type organic soil. Sounds dumb but I ve used peat and coco mix lots and that worked well for me. I figure if this shit was full of bugs they wouldn’t be selling it to buddy who lives right down the street? Idk I’m new to dealing with grow shops cause until recently there wasn’t shit for grow shops in my area. This new shop was closest and it’s a good 5 hour drive from my driveway.

Anyways I know that some brands have more contaminated batches than others from experience.. but the way it works up here, everything is coming on those trucks and sometimes shit happens and it’s not the company s fault. Hopefully I got an uncontaminated batch.
I once got a cube of promix from the local hardware store and it REEKED like kerosene.. I was pretty broke at the time so I juts rinsed it.. still ended up using most of it outside for the flowers and shit.
It seems obvious that some clown just stacked or spilled something on it. Next batch of promix was perfect

All great points. Not saying all of their stuff is, but on the several times that I grabbed several sacks at a time, like 4 different times. It was Basement Mix, not just straight coco like the red bag. Just sharing my experience with that brand, they likely process both "Coco Fiber" bags and "Basement Mix" bags at the same plant, etc. I have had bags of Coco Loco that were good, then a more recent bag get them but not nearly as bad as the Basement Mix.
5 hrs?! Man too bad it's costly to ship bags of dirt, it's more expensive on Amazon than a shop or nursery around here. But the gas and time might be worth it? Not unless you need like 50 bags n shit lol

I made the trip to get some new drums and cymbals I ordered. We saw a grow shop and I was like hey let’s stop there. So shipping was free this time. ? as I’m just doing a few plants in small pots this time I won’t need more for a long time. I’ve been using promix cause I can get it close by. If I had my way I’d probably rock high grade potting soil with extra perlite.
Thanks for the heads up on the coco. I’ll keep an eye on it.. maybe it needs some boobie stickers to ensure I watch for bugs ?
