Funny story, Rob Zombie grew up right near where I live and he came back to town to do some charity shit at the High School he had attended some years back. I wound up meeting him randomly down town... super nice guy. Totally down to earth, laid back. Not at all what I expected.

I couldn’t find a video from anything I worked but this was about a 2 months after I ran his college (campus invasion I think they called it) east coast tour. Virginia is s huge college state.

I boxed for about 2 years before picking up kung fu. I started because I was homeless from 16-18 and the boxing club was 5.00 per week and they let you work out from 6am-10pm all you had to do was work out enough to look busy. You could keep warm/cool all day and they had showers. The ONE thing I remember distinctly is this one training instructor that carried around this thick wooden yard stick and if you let those elbows rise in your guard. He would hit you on the boney tip of your elbows HARD with that thing. I remember it well because that shit HURT!!!!
