Marty had so many good songs. Cool to think his guitar player invented the first distortion effect as well and managed to get the Stones to use it on Satisfaction.

Indeed. Back in '76 when their first lp was released, some cassette machines would reverse the tape direction at the end of one side and then play the other side. Continuous play - a terrific option for a day of tripping.

I once tripped at someone's place and they had a record player that would come to the end of a side, and reset back to the start. This must have played 30 ... 40 times .
