Answered Would this have the capability to purge solvents?

I have been doing some research on cannabis concentrates, and exploring some bho along with some other methods. Shopping around looking at bvv.com... Now I’m curious. Would I be able to experiment with this food saver attachment or am I way off here? If the container was glass or metal instead of plastic, isn’t this the same concept?

I tried..it somewhat works (not enough vacuum really), also does not have a cold trap either which in the end destroys the unit..
