That would be kinda stupid to tryI'd like to now what would happen with a plant that only has under canopy lighting? I know the underside of the leaves do photosynthesize but not as efficiently as the top side. Would it flower and have very airy buds? Would it Hermie up? would it have normal buds?

good ?Would it stretch or grow to the light?
I meant good question. especially if there was nothing to reflect any of the under canopy light back downActually, I would think either would be bad?
That's a great deal on those mammothAfter thinking hard on what I wanna do and budgets ,okay I ordered another 8x under canopy by mammoth + stands + 3ft extension cord. This gives me total 18x UC led’s and able to all lines.
Price compares
the vivisun are 108 ( 100 watts, stands suck, no power daisy chainable , 110v) each.
16 GML UC with stands and cord WOULD BE $5,592.00 USD… JESUS
Craft or FAVEN would be 4,000-5,000 for 16x UC … yeah
I paid 1,800 for 16 UC with cords/stands + the 2x vivisun. at 999 for 8x mammoth + stands it made it roughly 130 a unit/led. For quality of led and driver qc vs rest it def seemed like best choice for me .
Dude, under canopy lights are 100 to 130 watts max over a 4ft fixture, that are waterproof, so there is a protective dome (lens) over the diodes, which depending on brand sits 1/2 inch to 1 inch above diodes, not that you would want to , but the buds can touch the lights with little burn or bleaching . Generally they are placed 6 to 12 inches below bottom of the lower canopy, so nothing should come close to touching them anyway, if something is touching, it's because plants aren't supported properly.@BH will leaves react the same way by taco-ing if they receive too much light from the bottom?
i've got a handful of t5's out in the garage that I might try to use a few for the next grow as under canopy
damn, that's more watts/ft than the led i'm running now above the plants. maybe I need more top lighting before I think about the bottom. lolunder canopy lights are 100 to 130 watts max over a 4ft fixture,
Im asking for some for my birthday. I need this bad for under the canopy in the big room All of this info has me sold. Now I just have to figure out what I need for a 5x7 area. I can fit 10 plants in there max, maybe a couple more with supplemental overheads for the dim area on the left side, I have 2 old 100w quantum boards for that. I do have to figure in room for the under canopy fixtures depending on what I get. I'm hoping to have it all in place by flower next run.Dude, under canopy lights are 100 to 130 watts max over a 4ft fixture, that are waterproof, so there is a protective dome (lens) over the diodes, which depending on brand sits 1/2 inch to 1 inch above diodes, not that you would want to , but the buds can touch the lights with little burn or bleaching .
