I can't say I'm big on the reggae. I can't even say I'm more than small on the ska. I posted 10 CC's Dreadlock Holiday not long ago. There was a tune called Try Jah Love that I remember I sort of dug - I had the 45, remember those? So I want to participate and support youse reggaetators - After searching my brain during plant maintenance, I think I've got one ! Rate my post.

Part of the brilliance of that style other than letting the Bass player lead, of course, lol (as a Bass player) is that there's a guitar or some other instrument that is carrying the off beat too. I really don't know why I love that so much but it just works for me.

I have a negative association w/ those Elfman boys, due to me being pressured into attending a crazy packed screening of the ultra-lame Forbidden Zone, which concluded in me caving the side of my new-to-me minivan via a fire hydrant hidden in an unlit parking lot....

Plenty of church in my youth, so, no lost time. Of course, we never had any music that was worth a shit. Homey ain't got time for the guilt tripping or the piety!
My black friends have had me to their services, and wow! It was then, I realized, church could be cool!
