In Bloom
Time will tell how much use they get.....but just knowing WTF is going on here with the pH of the native soil should pay for the acquisition in full in additional crops/etc. It's kinda like everything else we own. You use it when ya need it and it's nice to have. Hitting the point....especially with this virus..where the realization of "I can't take it with me"...so hey...whatever. My wife is onboard in the veggie garden but has no clue about weed...even after 30 years of it bein grown in house. She smokes her share though...LOL. Any purchase surrounding food production/weed rarely raises an eyebrow here. She's cool cus after almost 40 years dealing with me....she always says "cheaper than you being in the bar"...or "yer not one of those clowns who goes to the boat show and buys a boat on his own...so don't feel guilty spending the $$"...LOL. So...I get a pass....always. Heehee. No boozing, boats, planes, stupid boy toys and keep my dick where it should be = "Golden".
In that light on the solar front....I'm looking at some decent size deep cycle batteries. Not cheap, for sure...LOL. My knowledge is minimal..so I'm trying to decide what to buy/etc... and how much power I need. My goal is to be able to run what I want during the day and have enough power to run a few things overnight as well off the battery back up. Pumps draw just over 5 amps.
This is what I put together so far
Like i say...I'm hopin to cut electricity costs. I run 2 pumps.....both suck 9 amps.......so it's like running grow lights all day and often///all night as well.
and it's an "Old Dog, new tricks" thing as well.... like the soil testing and the rest of the shit I end up tackling with little to no knowledge. Live and learn (what not to do again...LOL)
