They toured Oz a couple years ago and getting both tickets and travel was just out of my reach .
Anyway unbeknowns to me my daughter calls me from Perth Western Australia one night and says howdy dad , I’m at my first hard core concert .
I’ve always been a Heavy Rock / Metal fan so I’m like oh yeah cool who is it ?
She says my mates had a spare ticket so they invited me along to see this band called Tool ? Ever heard of them dad ? ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

We saw them play in 2018 and it was pretty mind blowing. It was a bucket list concert for my girlfriend who is a huge fan, and I can definitely see why. I just wish maynard would have came out from behind the speaker a little bit more.

That's Maynard though. But I hear you. It was the same for me as I've never seen them live. A Perfect Circle but not Tool. And it was so close, they usually only play the big cities.

Still holding out hope that one day....

That's true, that guy intrigues me. I read an article where he plays entire albums throughout the grape harvests for his wine, and then labels the wine with the album it got processed to. Stuff like that is neat to me.

Back in my youth ( The 80s ) it was both a true test of character and stupidity if you could knock off the whole bottle and not throw your guts up all over the place . For just $5.00 bucks you were guaranteed to wake up in an unknown location with a free dose of amnesia thrown in . Tasted like Vinegar mixed with a dash of cheap sour grape juice . All class and consume at your own risk !

If wine tastes like Vinegar it means the cask was opened and air got in. Anyway, it's a lot tastier if you distill it LOL. (Brandy).

Seeing Tool would be awesome, but the cost of the tickets.... Maybe not LOL. I never got to see Acid Bath sadly, or Danzig, or Samhain, or a real Metal show either for that matter. Shit I'm boring. I've seen Clutch now, and seen the Misfits in Detroit like....Over 10 times. Ohhh! I did see the Koffin Kats!!! THAT was awesome!

Oh lawd! That's how my buddy used to get the mad dog when we were young. He worked at a grocery store and would dump out a grape soda 2 liter and fill it with mad dog. ?

That's hilarious. My older sister was friends with a guy who's dad owned a local market. One day I had to have been about 14, I bet him I could chug a whole 40 of Ol' E before the next customer walked in. He used to let us sit there and smoke cigs. I did it, and then told him to give me one more for doing it, which I then chugged too. I remember my friends mom wanting to know why I was so tired and slept on their couch all day. It was like 11 in the morning.

So funny. This guy we used to play basketball with back in the day used to chug those sum bitches while hoopin. Needless to say the quality of his game deteriorated after about an hour and a 1/2 haha
