No, I use rockwool and let that rockwool cube sit in a hydroton basket start to finish. Are you in coco?
Lots of interesting phenotypes in that strain. Did you like what came out of the F2? I have made a few F1's with Terpenado. Some crosses used a Terpenado male going into selected females. Other F1s were a non-Terpenado male going into Terpenado females. I haven't explored any of those yet so I really curious to see what your take on it is.Looking beautiful @Senokai. I recently harvested a Terpenado F2, I never had anything like cedar show up in that strain, but pine/skunk/fuel and funk for sure.
My take on terpenado after seeing something like 6 females, there was not too much variety in the expressions I saw. Structurally there are some good appearances with high flower to leaf ratio and potency, but may lack in the actual terpenes. The best terpenes I've found so far came with a more leafy and loose structure and hover around skunk, pine, and fuel. The F2 I harvested from that mom is similar in smells but had some improvements overall in structure. I've got a fair amount of F3's from her and might get to them later this year. It starts off growing sort of slow but finishes really quick once flower kicks in.what your take on it is.
Terpenado does start off slow. Can confirm! I think 85/100 is a fair assessment. It has potential. It's certainly nowhere near your Tangie x Sour Strawberries. Tangie x Sour Strawberries has got to be a 90+ plus strain. I have not had a strain as full of flavor as that one in my garden ever. I'm probably spoiled now lol. I'm actually running Tangie x Sour Strawberries again in my 2x4. More pics to come once they are deeper into flower! My take on terpenado after seeing something like 6 females, there was not too much variety in the expressions I saw. Overall impression has been about an 85 out of 100. Room for improvement but potential for really great things right out of the box.
. Tangie x Sour Strawberries
I think those two strains have the tangie in common. Yes, that tangie was something else! I can't wait to see what the Tangie X Sour Strawberries again!+1
Unless I am mistaken, I got the same Tangie in THT "2Stroke Tangie" ( Tangie x Sour Tangie )
It really really was something else.
I dig MH.I havnt seen any terrible reviews
Those are heavenly spearsHere are a few shots of the Tangie x Sour Strawberries for reference
Thanks bro!!!! Yea, MH seems to keep stretching down quite a bit in veg compared to HPS and in the summer months it keeps the tent a little cooler. I'm actually going to try running at 800w this summer to see if I can get the temps down a little bit while in flower. Gotta mess around with the variables ?I dig MH.
Ipower has many offerings from different stables, like many brands,,it could be rebranded ( manufacturing by zxy, labeled as ipower)
Not necessarily true- and certainly not a bad thing.
What does a bulb company know about tents?
and what does a tent company know about fans ?
And what does a fan company know about ballasts??
They seem to be making a good brand for themselves , with very reasonably priced products. They must be performing well, because customer feedback has never been more readily available , and powerful , in the retail market.
Those are heavenly spears
Well done
Since we're nerding out?... What you say makes sense. MH is cooler in temp and is more geared for veg (blue heavy spec), keeping stretch to a minimum... Shorter wave length, tighter spectrum... Tight nodes...cooler temps, less strech'. Ok. While HPS is warmer in temp and more geared for flower (red heavy spec) which tends to lead to more stretch... Looser, more stretchy nodes. So what's better? And when so?? Timing! Well now, one can argue for either side... timing is everything! Thanks bro!!!! I get where you are coming from and I agree on the timing most of all. I typically use the MH a week or two into flowering and then swap to HPS. The stretch is going to happen no matter what so If I can keep everything tight in veg it seems to make my life easier once the ladies start chonking out. There isn't really a wrong way to do it just a matter of preferences.Since we're nerding out?... What you say makes sense. Just a rudimentary observation...Im bumping gums....probly sound smoked out...gtg...but carry on ?
I would disgree.I'm sure its a negligible amount of CO2 but its something
That is really awesome data!!!! Well shit all the more reason to brew more often!I would disgree.
I have zipped myself into 4x8 ( poorly sealed) room with my meter.
20 mins of respiration will rise room to 1000 pom CO2.
Just having your plants in the basement with a couple of pilot lights will rise a room a couple hundred part per million.
Absolutely not dangerous, although I think you may have more CO2 there than you think.
