This will be my journal for all my grows.
A little bit about where I’m at. I’m currently growing in ProMix HP, mixed at 4:1 with perlite. Everything is bottle fed with Remo Nutrients at half strength, pH’d to 5.9 - 6.1.
My veg tent has a dog’s breakfast of lighting, including a 100 watt Spider Farmer board, a couple of 2’ Sunblaster and a couple of 50 watt corn bulbs. My flower tent has an LED strip light set up purchased from growdaddy leds. IIRC, there’s some far or deep red and UV in there.
Both tents are connected with a six inch duct, and are exhausted by a six inch AC infinity in-line fan. I don’t run a filter. It stinks outside. I don’t care. LOL. Circulation in the tents is a mish mash of 6” fans from Ac Infinity (great fans), Vivosun and Canadian Tire.
All of the intake is passive, with the included openings provided by the tent manufacturers.
I don’t run any heaters, humidifiers or dehumidifiers. I dabbled with a humidifier for a while but found it just wasn’t worth the effort. It’s really dry where I live, and especially so in the winter, and I only grow during the winter. I’m lucky to maintain 30% RH. If it gets really cold outside (-30 degrees C or colder), it’s usually around 25%, any higher and I get condensation on my windows.
Anyway, here’s some pics of my flower tent from a week or so ago. I’ve got two More Cowbells (Bodhi, courtesy of Heathenraider), one Platinum Silk (I got this one from Hust17), one Oil Spill (County Line Genetics) and one T1, a CBD variety from Old Country Hemp.
And currently in my veg tent is the next round. Includes Pioneer Kush and Cookie Crunch from Greenpoint, McSlurry from WSS, a couple of mystery beans from H, Rock Island Rocket from County Line, Sweet and Sour from Federation (these were the first seeds I grew when I started growing a few years ago), and two CBD strains from OCH, Cherry Blossom and Merlot. These are at day 10 from dry seed.
