Dirt Stick - The signature "grow store" smell is coming through with a lot of the cherry terp from Cherry Diesel. The "grow store" terp is 100% brand new. In all my years of growing I have not come across anything like it except for this strain. Earthy can be a misleading term as it does fall into that category but it is nothing like typical earthy terps.

Oh for sure she would hulk smash in 18/6. As of yet I have not seen a negative impact growing a 12/12 cycle focused strain in conventional light cycles. Which is pretty damn cool, makes it a versatile offering.

Im going to be adding that data point to the website FAQs. I think its a pretty critical thing to add in case anyone thinks that 12/12 focused strains cant be ran conventionally or even outdoors.

This effort to curate, chuck, and breed strains that perform exceptionally well in 12/12 from seed really stems from a desire to be able to grow and finish plants in a small tent environment (under 6 ft) and maximize the yield + speed + quality, We've found that modern hybrids tend to do great with height restrictions due to their 'medium' amount of veg time before flowering in 12/12 from seed. The worst strains for this method either start flowering too soon ( 2 weeks) or too late (5+ weeks), the sweet spot for 12/12 from seed are strains that spend 3ish weeks in veg and flower in ~75ish days or less, making an entire grow cycle possible in just 3 months as opposed to the usual 4 with conventional light cycles.

Meat Breath Project - Between two clones of Meat breath (each in a different tent) there are two new F1s. The fathers are Squirt Sack F2 and Dirt Stick F5. Meat breath is a beauty and my gut tells me that she and Dirt Stick will make some serious funk. There is already one interested party in the cross with the dirt stick. Depending on quantity there may be some testers we can pass on.

Apples and Bananas - She has moved much higher up the list of things I want to breed with. She got the Squirt Sack F2 dusting and the spidey senses say there is a good chance to spark some magic in those seeds. Either way Apples and Bananas will be on rotation for a while longer and many more new and interesting F1s to create.

she even for me I felt like I could sense some also cinnamon tones when sniffing her and she was spicy also when smoked. Very nice pheno !

Jet Fuel Gelato got the chop. Dusted with Dirt Stick and a little bit of the Squirt Sack. Bud density for days. Even the lowers have some beef.

Squirt Sack F3s meet our quality control standards The thick beast has everything in one pheno. Her seeds are going to be used to make F4s that will be our production offering. There is enough consistency of characteristics from what we have seen across filial generations to be confident in consistency. Very excited its a unique strain.

Secondly, the plan is to do the widest possible exploration of the Jet Fuel Gelato x Dirt Stick F1s. We have plenty of these to pass on some testers for those interested. Spidey senses are tangling on this one.

I imagine being a breeder, one of the cool things is seeing the progeny turn out just right after F2s. I imagine it's always nice getting a line to check all the boxes for you after working it. 😀 Thanks for sharing.

Its a very hit and miss sort of thing when it comes to trait consistency early on. Dirt Stick as an example took some doing to dial in. F1-F2 had some really disappointing phenotypes along with some gems. It wasn't until F3 where we found the "Grow Store" smell pheno and from there things dialed in rather quickly once we knew where we wanted to take it. THT can tell you that I was of the mind set to abandon Dirt Stick until he found the "Grow Store" pheno. It was unlike anything the F1-F2 phenos were showing. It turned out to be something completely unique and to this day have not come across a terp/flavor like it. Its truly a brand new terp.

Squirt Sack - Best of the best. Our production round for this strain will be coming from this very pheno. Just waiting on seeds to dry and then off to the races.

Smoke report - She has all the traits we like rolled up into one. Its potent but very clear headed and a perfect daytime toke.
