Auto breeders

Unfortunately with autos most breeders are still pretty unreliable. Mephisto is the only one that I can 100% recommend to people. I'd love to try NightOwl but I don't have the wherewithal to be on their site when a drop hits just to grab some seeds before they sell out.
Advanced Seeds was pretty good to me but all their gear seems to run long. Same with WickedPissah.

I'd love to see someone run some Afterthought or Mandelorian gear though... i just don't wanna be the guinea pig haha
I'm actually trying to avoid Mephisto and Night Owl. Will only consider if/when they are fully stocked. I don't like the idea of having to compete for seeds. Trying to checkout before others etc. Kinda ridiculous if you ask me lol. They are however, the benchmark it seems.

Don't know about Afterthought but I'd run Mandalorian any day. No experience with it but strains like ALF 5, Bobbys Widow, Anvil have been very highly rated by growers that I admire!
It's too bad they are not in stock! I'd be more than willing to be a guinea pig for Mandalorian genetics. Anyone willing to send me some?

I have mixed results with dinafem autos, as Far As I manage to catch new gobto autos grower is Rocbudinc.. I have seen some photos of he's girls and it reall looks dank.And I'm hearing only praises about him/them.. For other fem /reg plus autos breeders I dont know how much are they dedicated to theor auto breeding.
No, thats very true, this forum definitely leans towards photo growers ... but thats not too surprising, autos are still a really small segment of cannabis cultivation, and this is a pretty small community
Also, theres just not that many good auto breeders to be honest, and your avoiding the two best regarded ones, so your question can be answered pretty concisely lol.
I have been hearing good things about Roc Bud Inc, considering giving his gear a shot. Also just FYI Neptune and Platinum seedbanks both have Mephisto gear in stock without the whole competing to check out thing ... but its 7 packs only
Mephisto site is stocked now. Seems they are working out their issues. If they keep this up, I'll need to be saving up lol.
RocBudInc is actually the breeder I have my eye on. Am already planning a relatively big buy for my next round. A 4×8 can fill quite a number of Autos so really looking forward to it. Would be cool to get Roc onto the site!

I was actually just emailing with him this morning... was trying to get some details on his next drop ... he said 1-2 weeks, still kind of up in the air, but the fact that he was so responsive to my random emails is a major selling point for me...
Main reason I haven't tried his stuff is none of his crosses really get that "you have to grow this" reaction for me ... hoping his next drop has something more up my alley
We talking bout Roc right? He really does seem like a great guy. Can't wait to hear what you think about his crosses? I will probably need around 2 months before I can purchase any from him. Cash is tight.
Yeah, talking about Roc ... he does seem like a good guy, I like breeders that actually interact with the community ... if he drops anything I like I'll probably grab it and run one right away just to see whats up

I have a buddy thats an admin at the af Network, thats auto flower this time (not as fekk)
He swears by them, I've seen many of his grows.....His tent plants are nearly as big as my photos......I just don't think the potency is the same, considering ruderalis in the autos has ZERO thc......
But I'm very curious.....Waiting 60-70 days is a lot easier then waiting 100-120 days.

Do tag me dear Sir! I've been told by some experienced growers that Roc's gear are the best Autos they've grown and easily rivals photoperiods. I'm not experienced enough to make/validate that statement as I'm a novice photoperiod grower. I do however, have a tent dedicated to photoperiods. Am looking forward to better my skills on phenohunter! Feel free to educate me anytime! Thank you.

I wonder about the potency too but both Rocs and Mephisto has strains that tested above 27% if I'm not mistaken. Thats higher than many photos.
Hopefully I'll save enough soon to try it myself. Sucks being a broke ass grower in prohibition land. Lol

I spent $350 on seeds last fall....Kinda set now, but all fems........If somebody sent me AF seeds in exchange for a grow journal I'd do one or two......but after Xmas.
Alright fine I’ll bite. I’m interested in perhaps running some more autos after this successful strawberry cheesecake run... Haven’t had the smoke yet but these are pretty impressive for the time that I put into them.... I am following Rocbudinc on insta and they do have some lookers for sure... Ethos is apparently also working on an auto line. I don’t think I have ever smoked an auto before, so time will tell... but I like what I am seeing out of these.

Yes I got these and a pack of NL Autos from them at the beginning of the year... The NL was total shite. This however was a welcome surprise. It’s a unique aroma profile for sure... cheese with a hint of sickly sweet, more like honeysuckle than strawberry but nice either way...
Colin from Ethos posted about an Autoflowering project on his Instagram a month or so back... I really like the idea of being able to flower under constant light. It seems that the flowering period is cut in half since I have been running these under 24/0 with no ill effects... this brings up so many questions for me though. I always understood flowering to occur at night. I thought that the flowering hormone builds when lights are off then destroyed when lights turn on... so if this were to ring true, how can I have flowers like this with zero darkness?
I just dont think we understand cannabis as well as we think we do tbh haha... I used to think the same thing about the dark cycle. I do run my autos on 18/6 still ... but thats mostly to save a few pennies on electricity. My favorite part of autos at this point is I can stuff one in my veg tent when I'm growing impatient with my more time consuming projects lol
