best “mobile” flower vape

I can't seem to embed the vid, but here's a rundown on the FMJ. No induction heater required. I saw a lot of chatter on reddit about these things so I was curious. The video does a good job, plus the price is pretty hard to beat. I imagine it would be simple to fab your own, but not for that cost, once you fiddlefuck around with the details.

I’m buying 2x right now ?

A couple notes:
I'm getting surprisingly good flavour, better than without the FMJ by a good stretch. Exhaling some BST as I type and it is a cloud of yum.

After a few uses, I was combusting and getting annoyed but after minor usage tweaks, I'm golden again. Rather than hitting the center of the logo and going past the click, I keep the flame aimed at the top of the logo and stop at the click. I load the 'Vap, set it in the bong and nail it with the single flame. No twirling is such a nice upgrade, as is getting maximum results from a single flame. I always had issues with multi-flame units but have a couple really good singles. (y)

Mine are lasting 5+ months. I'm set until new year then I'll need new batteries as well. I can't beat the price with $10 Honey Stick coils and that metal mouthpiece. Easy clean with a q-tip, paper towel and rubbing alcohol. I couldn't be happier. And the taste? WOW. I still roll 'em up at home but for on the go these rock.

Good to hear about Honey. Their coils last longer and are cheaper. I've looked at their pen batteries back when I was vaping nicotine. Couldn't seem to find a good to go pen. I may take another look at their stuff now. Smart companies take care of their clients who in turn tell others?
These arrived today.......well worth it! (y)

25 watts on the batt dial and this puppy rips. I like this tank better than the wax tank and I have a feeling it would do wax as well.

Interesting. As soon as they are back in stock I’m gonna grab a 2x so I have one for each set up. I have always used a single flame torch. I tried to use the Multis but something always broke and I mean always it is crazy.

I know exactly what you mean about the bong and not having to spin the Vap. I get so annoyed with having to heat it all up then having to put it in the bong properly.

Does it actually cool down the same? The reviews said it takes a long time to cool because of the copper.. I like to smoke mine as quick as possible so I don’t like to have to wait forever to re light. When I put the screen at the micro dosing chamber I can normally get all that in one light. That’s a big reason Im We’re you able to get everything in one pull?

It's intended to hold and retain heat, so cooldown is longer by design. Like they mention, you can take multiple inhales before the cooldown click.
I have a magnet mounted on my little tool holder and I put the dynavap on that. It doesn't take long before I can handle it after a hit.

My 'vaps are old Ms, either a '17 and an '18 or an '18 and a '19. If the chamber adjusts, I've never done it. I load it fully and without the FMJ I get two good bong hits and a third tiny one that I don't bother with.

With the FMJ installed, when done right, I get one big rip and what is left is brown and extracted and done. When I say one rip, I mean one heat cycle. I may milk the bong a couple times, but try to take it all in before exhaling the cloud.

I just ordered some more goodies: a universal adapter, another cap, a glass version of the dynavap that only requires a cap(gets me get an entire new vaporizer for under $60), and a couple more FMJs. Now I'll have two complete metal units and a glass one. :)

Spending spree is so over. Back to having a brain. ?(shut up, don't say it) ; )

After putting the Air Max through it's paces on a few drives and fishing trips, as well on the bong, I am extremely happy with my purchase. As long as it proves durable, which is the only question to be answered, I highly recommend it as an upgrade from the Air.

I'm using the Solo II, and from one packer I get two sessions, probably 8 to 10 nice hits per session @380f.
With the Air 1 I would still be seeing a bit of visible vapour when the ten minute session timer expired. With the Max, I shortened the session setting to 8 minutes and still often shut it off before that as it seems done. Only one or two hits seems unusual.

Okay cool. How many hits do you get before the taste turns to the popcorn taste? I'm wondering if I might not be packing it tight enough or with enough, I usually get 1-2 hits before the good flavor is gone.
I've found that it depends on the strain, the ones with more terps keep the flavor longer, which makes sense if you think about.
Usually the 2nd session has lost the initial taste, but still it's not bad.

Don't pack it tightly at all.

A fluffy grind is what you want, not a fine grind. The drier the better. Fill the bowl but do not pack it. Tamping it very lightly with a fingertip is all that is required.

I totally get why lots of people lose patience when vaping. There is definitely a larger learning curve and it's easy to get frustrated. Better taste, cleaner high, and fewer health concerns make it worth it to me.

edit:
I usually get 1-2 hits before the good flavor is gone.

That matches my experience. Terps are gone in the first third of the session, but those first couple tastes are sooo good.

Still very happy with my recent purchases. The Air Max is fantastic in the car, on the deck, on the bong....
The improved battery life is probably the thing I've appreciated most, that and the USB charging. Combined with a bunch of preloaded tubes, it really is an awesome road device. It is simple and effective.

The FMJs are still knocking my lights out. A few notes:

There really is a learning curve to getting massive hits with one hit extraction but it is more than worth it, IMO, and once you figure it out it gets pretty easy.

Be aware that any time you are heating different materials simultaneously you will have different rates of expansion and contraction. This means keeping an eye on the cap as it may not fit as tightly as normal with the copper band in place. This is most noticeable with the all-glass body version of the dynavap. It hits really nice from the bong but if you take it out of vertical alignment you may find yourself scrambling for a small hot item somewhere around your crotch when the cap and FMJ fall off. ??

The MFLB has gathered dust for years. The Xmax Starry3.0 had been mostly sitting for a while. The Boundless CFX has joined it along with the Air 1. I haven't even been firing up the Extreme Q very often even though I finally replaced the nasty old whip so it tastes good again.

My daily drivers are the Air Max, and the Dynavap with FMJ. The Max is like having a stiff drink, the Dynavap is like taking a shot. One for savoring, one for getting full effect ASAP. Both have their places and both are very effective.

If I'm using a water piece I'll set the Max around 212C and hit it hard. Without the bong I start in the 180s and end up around 200.

Not sure what I was doing wrong with the FMJ early, but I haven't had any combustion for a while, just huge hits. Been using a dry water piece so I get cooling as well as maximum terps. If I'm not careful, I end up having an afternoon nap.
I don't recommend the FMJ for out and about use unless you are fortunate to have a tight fitting cap. It would be pretty easy to lose a cap and/or get burned by one falling off and landing on you.

Very cool. It's been 3 weeks, still like it?

Gotta keep 'em clean but if you've got battery mods these rock.

I just found this little blue one last week

It was in a box in the garage with my nicotine vape stuff. Plugged it in and now it's my go to away from the house. You can see how much smaller it is and way lighter. I like it and will order another one when this one dies.

I am still liking it. The Honeystick mod/batts on the other hand are not working. Customer service seems to be ignoring me on that. I picked up a geek vape M100 mod batt and I really like that so far. It's a nice piece. Was $39.99 from central vapors........but then you need to add on the ridiculous delivery charge. Apparently, the law in 2022 now requires signatures and deliveries went up in cost.

Dammit!
Shouldn't have visited the vape store site.

Just pre-ordered a Dynavap B, a new model. It was a discounted price and a decent lighter is included so it's not a big expenditure like the Air Max was. Also grabbed another stem for the Arizer to fill my travel case, and then a frivolous buy, a "mystery" glass piece. They sell demo units for big discounts, so I dropped $35 to solve a mystery.

Only bad thing is since it's a pre-order it won't ship till the end of the month. : (
Oh well, having something to wait for should keep me from buying any other crap in the meantime.

The order shipped early, I'll be picking it up in an hour or two:carlton:. In the meantime, thought I'd share a review of the new Dynavap B. I'll add my 2 cents later when I've tried it myself.
