A little worried this morning as the few seedlings that had come up are now damping off, and don’t have any others breaking through. Pretty discouraged but hoping some will make it through…

That’s the thing the soil is completely dry and the humidity in the tent is only around 60 degrees. Not sure what’s happening but I’ll let them dry out even more and hopefully they turn around.

I had this happen a while back with some peat pellets too. If they don’t pull through I’m just going back to what I know works.

That just happened to me..Went away from my normal routine and used the wife's epsoma seed starter..I've always used happy frog to start seeds in..Lost quite a few potentially very nice plants due to dampening off...just couldn't judge how much to water in that stuff..Never again..stick with what ya know..it was so bad I surgically removed tiny sprouts from that garbage and put them in happy frog...managed to save about half...Lesson learned

I may have to try that myself, because a decent amount of dough went into all these seeds. Would be a damn shame not to get a single one.

I probably wouldn't have even tried but I was hoarding back the Cherry Kool aid and pure Michigan f3 from @Frimpong and some Strawberry guava D from @Amos Otis ..Kir Royale and Columbian x Jamaican x Ghash from @Kanzeon ...some skunky D f2s....so you can see why I panicked and went all surgeon in there..Only saving one pure Michigan was a huge kick in the nuts...Like I said HUGE lesson learned...but was happy to save what I did

Yeah I guess we will see how it goes. I have a ton of seeds, was just looking forward to a lot of these. Not gonna let it get me too down though, you live and learn.
If all these turn to shit I’m going to pop a bunch from my first pollen chuck.

I have a ton of seeds I've chucked myself, so I try to use them to test out a new mix or method. They are all good beans but, if somebody is gonna be a Guinea pig, it might as well be those that cost me nothing! Don't lose hope, it's happened to all of us.

Yeah I’ve been letting them dry out for a little while. Wasn’t really sure how long they need, it’s been around 2 months so I’m assuming they should be good.

Yeah I probably should have done that but I am really looking forward to hunting through them though. The cross is Sour Dubb x Sour Diesel Bx from Top Dawg crossed to Lemon Diesel from Emerald Triangle. The male was stupid resinous and stacked well, so I had to use him.

So it looks like all the seeds I popped are going to go to waste, which is very disappointing. Started a couple different things last night, only about 40 beans this time though lol

Man that sucks but chalk it up and move on. I've lost so many through the years but the worst is having seedlings and then mice/rats or even snails/slugs munch 'em down. I've had both happen. 2-3 weeks of dreams gone to waste and having to start again.
I've been using those with coco coir and pretty easy. I keep them wet until the seeds pop and there's enough oxygen in the coco to make it work.
Some markets sell packaged meat in these plastic containers
and I always save them for starting seeds. I have no luck with the paper towel method and found this here works best for me.
