How’s it going everyone? Stumbled upon this place looking at forums doing preservation work and found the thread here. I poked around a bit and from what I saw it seems like just my speed. Wasn’t around for the early forum days, and don’t really care for the instagram scene. Though I was able to source some quality genetics through people there. Long story short I find myself here.
I just recently lost my entire garden in some very unfortunate circumstances and had to start from scratch. My intention for this run is preserving a few different lines that I want to keep and spread around if they are any good. I have been growing for around 4 years and have just recently starting messing around with chucking pollen. But I can already tell it’s going to turn into obsessive hobby for me.
I popped some stuff a few days ago, and a couple things have already sprouted. Really looking forward to this run. A lot of it is Bodhi’s work, directly or indirectly. I have pack of Blueberry Hashplant directly, Ethiopian Banana x Sensi Star F2 from Doc D, and a mix of Ancient OG F2, F4, and F5’s from a couple different people. I am also running a cross from a dude I met through instagram called Tri Cuddler Kush which is Triangle Kush x Sky Cuddler Double Kush F3. If all goes well I am going to do open pollinations, or perhaps selective open pollinations on all of these.
Also have some cool heirloom and landrace stuff that I could possibly add to the preservation project as well. Black Congo, Brazilian, Honduran, and a Colombia/Thai, as well as a bunch of other heirloom/landrace crosses.
Anyhow, nice to meet you all. Seems like there is a good vibe and a wealth of knowledge here. Looking forward to being part of the community!
