Honestly your living my dream . I’ve said to wife on several occasions I’d love to own / live on a farm . It just seems such a natural way of life . So chilled without the haste of city life .

Oh bro they're so good! Now, if you are in actual Detroit, the places that make these usually have fries, and other items on the menu as well (Imagine a Diner, but the main thing they sell are these Coney Dogs) and so there's usually breakfast for early in the morning, and then they have a lunch and dinner special, but the thing is, the Coney Dogs are like part of it, but they also generally have some of the best eggs and toast you'll have. I've been to these places for a long time, and it's a total Michigan thing, so, eventually when you get your ass here I'll show you some.

I've moved away from "society" and when I go back to work in the big sticks you notice it more and more. It's crept up here a little bit but not infested. The all consuming greed.
The weather was looking awesome last couple of days then all fire and brimstone rained down yesterday arvo. Good electrical storm. Prior to that you could see it starting to turn for the better. Sun up earlier noticeably later and sundown later.
I was getting a bit excited but alas i got ahead of myself as One swallow doesn't make a spring. We are nearly there mate

I admit when they added a shit load of new trails through the woods around here I was not excited to see so many more people walking around and riding bikes out here. I go out there to get away from everyone I didn't bring with me, not worry someone is gonna ride up on me while I'm trying to piss out there lol. I've put thought into scaring the shit out of people out there that aren't local but then I'm the same as asshole I'm trying to get away from *sigh*
There's probably at least a few times that's happened by accident though haha; me walking out there covered in sweat, giant beard, blood stains, carrying a fish carcus off to feed the creatures out there lol. I'm sure that made the people hiking feel real safe. Or when I'm out there smoking dank barefoot taking pictures of mushrooms and stuff.

I dunno if afraid is the right emotion . I’d say I’m not a fan of extreme cold . Cold I can handle , extreme cold is like layers on layers of clothing . I’m about as T shirt , shorts and a pair of thongs ( you guys call them flip flops ) as you can get . Pretty sure I was born already wearing this kit . My neighbours were laughing at me a few weeks back because they saw me for the first time in our winter wearing pants .
How do you guys when outside in winter even know who your walking past . You stitch your names into your thermals or something ?

Winter is my favourite! I’d rather be cold than sweating.. I can go a whole week without showering ? ? And hockey.. I live for hockey!
Plus there are less people outside so I can go for a walk in peace and the weed smells don’t stick to you.
Don't ever make me associate you and this item of apparel. That is a mental image nobody needs.
This is more of a work thing, but it's really interesting how unique and identifiable each person's body language and gait is.
On the job everyone wears identical fire-retardant coveralls, hardhats, and safety glasses, removing many of the visual clues most of us rely on. It is amazing how you learn to quickly identify people, even from significant distances, by how they walk, stand, or gesture as they speak.
When it's really cold, it doesn't matter who you are passing because ain't nobody stopping to talk anyway. ; )

How do you hot weather people carry your gear when all you wear are t-shirts and shorts?
I'm a cargo pants guy, and summer is tough without pockets. All the other seasons there are jackets and stuff too, for more storage. I also carry a multi-tool and usually a belt-knife, which obviously requires a belt.

I hate when it's 85 and humid, and I hate when it's 10. Snow can be beautiful and make absolutely stunning post card worthy pictures here, and in Summer my post card pictures would be the woods and the garden and the river.
I personally love Fall; 60 degrees, a little crisp, indica dominant plants turning pretty colors, and the Catfish are feasting for winter

To us it’s our blue chip premier foot wear as Aussie as Vegemite .
Look at this fine example of my safety boots at work . Just the thongs then they’re only thongs but wait ……….add socks and bam ….instant safety boots with built in aeration and self draining in puddles .
